How do i time spyro shadow legacy there are no rules for timing

I'm new to this and a little confused. To time the reignited Spyro 1, do i just use the in game timer or real-time timer?

Will OpenEmu be accepted as an emulator? It's my go-to for a Mac emulator. It seems I would have to try to download Mednafen if otherwise.

If I am on my Nintendo Wii, right and I am using the program, Nintendon't, is that program also banned in the submission?
