So I have been watching AGDQ2018 and during the horror block Silent Hill was highly praised for its great in game timer. So i was wondering if there are any other games out there with such great timers or even just comparable?

The Resident Evil series are good for in game timers.

the Time Attack timers from Shadow of the Colossus are great, but unless you're running IL's instead of the NTA category you don't use them :/

DeadCore timer is quite good, don't even need livesplit

Metroid: Other M is an example of what NOT to do with an ingame timer. Twilight Princess has a decent IGT, the only issue is it's (h)h:mm (no seconds on the file select screen) and it doesn't show after the final boss. I know the Primes use IGT for their runs, some of which have higher accuracy than others.

Thanks for all these great replies! I completely forgot about uncharted. You would think after playing them so many times i would remember they have actual speed run modes. I've never done any speedrunning but year after year i watch the GDQ marathons and get more and more interested in getting into running and figured if i could find a game with a good ingame timer that would make it easier to start.
