I just can't get rid of it. I feel like I was such garbage so much and there's not much I can't do about it.

I hear ya. It's not something that most of us are readily capable of doing off hand. Takes a lot of strength and courage to do this but it takes the same thing to walk away and be the bigger man. Every time I run into a conflict I just walk away and ignore them. If its someone I care about I try talking things out. :)
