Yeah, it's a shame. It's a pretty good game, just not a great speedrun.
Although, maybe a new category could shine at least a little light on this game. Perhaps a speedrun where you try to get a certain score on each of the mini games? Minigame%? I don't have a good setup or an emulator yet, though.
Watching runners shoot from the cannons immediately in cannon countdown would be funny.
Well, I would try to go for the World Record if that category was made because I am first for Boss Rush and the more the better!
I’ve tried to speedrun this game because the boss fights are good speed levels but just with how long the game takes to beat its not something I want to try and speedrun. I have come up with a few strategy’s and routes but I’ve forgotten all of them💀. Might speedrun soon if I feel like it. Other then I’ll stick to other weird Wii games that most people never played.
If you think the boss fights are good levels to speedrun, then you may speedrun the category "Boss Rush"
The only issue with ILs and IWs is that the levels themselves are difficult to speedrun since they're mostly autoscrollers.
