It's Any%, anything goes. Just beat the game as fast as you can, there are definitely some exceptions, and I might even say this is one of them.
You both have a point there, but there is nothing in the rules that is against this, and I myself was wondering myself, so I asked SpiderSponge on this forum https://www.speedrun.com/fnaf2/thread/64nxh and you can see his response there as well, he doesn't say that it's a problem, he just says "Read the rules...", "'You have to go through all the nights'" (which is not the exact quote from the rules @SpiderSponge but it's close enough), meaning he says it's not a problem. There is nothing against this in this version of the rules either so the same should apply here. It's fine with me if it's not allowed, I would just like the rules to be updated to show that it is clearly not allowed to use more than one Five Nights at Freddy's game open for usage in the speedrun. In the end I just want the rules to be more strict. I don't even really want a time this good to be honest, to be able to use 5 FNaF tabs, but it's not against the rules, and I look for ways around the rules myself. I make sure that it is ok before I do something like this, such as the time I actually beat FNaF 2 2 Star in 35 seconds, which lead to the rules being updated, and I was happy with that.
If you can update the rules then i'd be happy with it, but maybe tell Turtles are Love, he is the full moderator and he can decide if it is fine or not. And update the rules if it's not
I do agree with you, but Turtles are Love made the rules, and when I ask SpiderSponge he looks at the rules and sees if it has anything that goes against the rules. Nothing goes against the rules here, and I can't sit here knowing I can save time with something that's not against the rules.
