speedrun.com will probably never allow uploading/downloading videos since handling that requires lots of storage space, bandwidth and potentially the ability to transcode video.

They probably should rework how they load/store flags. Instead of loading like a hundred individual images (when opening a large board) that are cached for only 24 hours, they could put all the flags on a single sprite and cache that for a month.

Wouldn't that display a wrong result if someone uploads an old run that isn't their PB anymore?

In my experience it varies wildly what people understand under what you call "flair". The only site i know that even uses that terminology is reddit and there it looks very different.

What exactly do you mean by "flair"? Post borders, image borders, text/image signatures, post colors, tags, statistics, titles - or something else entirely? Imo this thread has been pretty much useless so far because of how vague it is.

They most likely won't do that since supporting two designs of the website adds a lot of extra development time, especially when new features are added.

As the mod of a game that uses "jiffies" (1/60th of a second) for IGT, I second this feature request.
