My friend and I beat minecraft yesterday and I was the one who recorded and he was the op of the world (he is on switch and I'm on pc). Is that legal to post as a speedrun? also I used shaders which I don't think gave me an advantage in any way but I just wanted to make sure. There is also a part in the speedrun where I paused to use the bathroom and I wanted to know if i cut that part out would the speedrun be legal?
cutting anything out invalidates the run. also if the host doesnt record it it is invalid as the world creation must be shown.
okay, thanks for the response, I'll still upload to youtube since it's still content but I'll make sure to write in the description that it's not a valid run.
I think shaders are okay. I use shaders in my runs and they got verified. As long as it doesnt give you an advantage, you're all good to go.

We have a new rule for all platforms, for random seed runs.
After completing a Top Run (Top 5 Main Category/1st ILs), you must exit the world and go to the main menu.
For top Windows runners, you still have to do PowerShell verification.
