so ive seen a bunch of speedrunners on this game go onto level 4 and then go to the very edge of a platform and use it to jump onto the decoration platform to skip like half of the level. (no major skips btw) i tried doing this but when i get to the edge of the platform i cant jump. i tried switching to peach desert and that didnt help. please help this is a very major skip that i need to know how to do

I'm trying to do a similar thing with level 1 on no skips, where my character just does NOT get enough height. There has to be a setup or something

you don't need to do 4 skip especially if you're just starting, it's quite difficult if you want a tutorial, watch whatinator's NMS guide (in guides over on the left) <<<<<<<

Go to a point on that platform that your falling animation plays, (but you don't fall) position yourself towards the corner platform using shift lock, go out of shift lock, press s and immediately press w.
