I want to speedrun on virtual console for glitchless but the rng manips don’t work on there and I wouldn’t mind looking for manips on it but don’t know how

How viable is not doing a manip in the run ???

There's an entire category around no manips called "Classic," you should be able to find it on the main board. There should also be guides for it floating around
