Hello to anyone who reads this.

I've been following this video() for the trainer ID manip at the start of the game. The problem I run into is that I'm not able to immediately reset the game with A+B+Start+Select after holding B+Up+Select. Specifically, what I mean by this is that unlike in the video, not only does the text asking if I'd like to delete my save data begin to appear, it doesn't reset at all unless I take my hands off the buttons and press them in again; even then, it only seems to reset when I specifically press Start or Select. In other words, it's not soft resetting, and I can't say why.

Obviously, this is due to some error I'm making but just to be clear, it's not one of timing; I have no issue moving my hands from one input to the other in time, I just can't get it to soft reset. I'm attempting this on gambatte and using my keyboard for inputs.

It could be a keyboard problem, I know some cheaper ones cannot take more then 3 input at the same time. The easiest way to prove this is to use a keyboard visualization program, you can just press these 4 buttons and you should see them pressed If thats your problem you should use this manip that doesnt require any soft reset.
