Always get these 21: Squirtle, Wartortle, Blastoise, Spearow, Pikachu, Raichu, Clefairy, Clefable, Diglett, Abra, Tentacool, Farfetch'd, Electrode, Mr. Mime, Magikarp, Lapras, Eevee, Flareon, Omanyte, Aerodactyl, Zapdos

BONUSES: Pre-Safari: 7 Safari: 9 Mansion: 5 Power Plant: 1 Three Island: 5 Road to Indigo Plateau: 5 Candy pokes: 7 (NOTE: Pokemon that can be evolved or traded count as 2; Caterpie and Weedle count as 3)

Final party must include: Zapdos (slot 1), Ch'ding (slot 2) Try to include: Omanyte, something with Intimidate and a Rock/Ground/Steel
Use any spare candies on Zapdos (only if L53)
Shop now OR before round 2 (not both). If now, buy max Full Restores (3)

Consider +1 with godly Sp. Atk
Switch Blastoise to slot 1, heal Zapdos to full, and turn mode to Shift
Bruno: Surf, switch to Zapdos, X Attack x2, (Agility), DP x3, switch to Blastoise, Surf (only 1 X Attack with x/x/25+)
Turn mode to Set, and switch Zapdos to slot 1
Agatha: (Agility with <137), X Spec x3-4, SW x5 (use 3 X Spec with 152+ at L51; 144+ if you candied to L55)
Heal to full

Move to the left and go up
After dodging first spinning trainer, take left spinner going down
Go up and dodge second spinning trainer, then take spinner to his left

Rocket: DP x4 (X Attack with x/28/9+ if L57, x/14/a+ if L58; otherwise Thunder the first Hypno with 148+)
Executive: Thunder+DP, Thunder, DP+DP

Heal Zapdos to full, (equip Chesto), turn mode on Set, and switch Zapdos to slot 1

With below-average Sp. Atk and x/12/a+ Speed: Set up a fourth X Special on Kingdra With bad Sp. Atk and bad Speed: SW+Thunder the L72 With bad Defense or terrible Speed: 1 X Spec on Gyara, kill it a turn early, then use 1/1 on Kingdra (SW+Thunder the L72)
Heal Zapdos to full
