After further analysis I do think this is genuinely a 42s. I think that I started livesplit about 0.23s late. But, the timer actually was 41.99 when the keypress happened from what I can tell, so that is still comfortably a 42s.

I don't think it gets much faster than this! Though it may be theoretically possible
