Having a separate category without the skip that shaves off 2.5-3+ minutes would be nice, involves further RNG and uptime in careful/precise driving. Am sure there is a crowd who enjoy the whole race vs taking a right off the highway into a cheese shortcut. Thanks

Problem is that we can’t add a specific category for only 1 track. Most we could do is a sub category.

2023, we have the technology

That is not how the site works though. We are limited by the options that the site is giving us.

To be fair, I wish we could do that as well, as there's many tracks that have an "out of bounds" skip. While "2023, we have the technology" may be accurate, speedrun.com is stuck a little around 2018 with some features, so that's a no for now.

I do believe this is a speedrun site, so things like glitches are almost mandatory as the goal is to beat anything as fast as possible. The entertainment in the map is gone after East Gorge Canyon, as the only remaining section is full of straights. Besides, you wouldn't get close to WR at all so I dont think there is a reason to create this anyway lol

On the other hand @Alpha_Ni glitchless/inbounds/NMG/NoNOS categories have a reason and a purpose to exist as well. People want to have more things to compete or express their skill in.

Simply - it's a different kind of challenge, I uphold that the fastest way should be the main category, almost always (most definitely always for ILs), but as a category split this is completely fine too.

I would argue that the OOB route changes the route so much for these races, that they could even have separate entries on the leaderboard, think of them as a different racetrack completely since you have to drive a different path.
