Questions related to RSG

Jönköping, Sweden

Firstly I want to ask is there a way to quickly find nether fortress or bastions in RSG, are there specific coordinates or chunks where they are more likely to spawn?

Secondly I know that you can find strong holds under villages above 500 cords, however I was wondering if there were any specific coordinates which are more likely to have strongholds?

United States

For your first question, no there isn’t really any way to find fortresses or bastions other than running around in the four different quadrants. And for your second questions, villages in the 1000-1500 have the highest chance of having a stronghold underneath, I think. But you are never guaranteed to find one.

What do you mean by the four quadrants?

United States

So there are four quadrants, pos pos, pos neg, neg neg, and neg pos. So pos pos for instance, your coordinates would be like 100 100, or neg pos coordinates would be -100 100. Either a bastion or fortress can spawn in any of these quadrants, but ther can’t be more than one structure in each of quadrant. But after I think exceeding 500ish blocks in one quadrant, structures can spawn again, so if you find a bastion in -100 100, you could go -700 100, and find another structure. I hope that makes sense lol.

Are there coordinated in which none of these structures can spawn?

Any tips for running RSG latest version console?

Play warped instead of bastions. Go for stronghold first if you can't find a lava pool and use 2 swords cuz they break quickly

You should always use warped. 90% of runs use warped forest instead of bastion. Bastions usually take longer than warped forests. How you explore a quadrant is up to the runner, I find that exploring to about 200, 200 in a quadrant works the best but that is just what I think. If you search the whole quadrant and can't find anything it probably is an unexposed bastion. Fortresses are larger than bastions and if a fortress is in your quadrant you should be able to find it quickly if the terrain isn't trash.

  • After a long discussion and investigating the game, we decided to change the showing global resource pack rule to be a highly recommended thing to do instead of a must (resource packs are STILL banned), so any past runs that haven't shown global resource packs and got rejected ma
