So I was reading the the MP Point Farming Guide by DrRank and I have a couple of things that I don't really understand.

Your best bet is to play Party Mode (Battle Royale) on DK's Stone Statue with 30 Turns. Set the CPUs' initial difficulty to Easy, and give everyone (including yourself) a 3-Star handicap.

Handicap stars don't count toward MP points, so shouldn't you give yourself a 0 handicap? I mean, it's only 30 points lost so maybe it's no big deal. Also giving yourself 0 means you'll always be in last place meaning you'll always be picked for friendship spaces.

On the last turn, set all the CPUs to Expert

why? I've done this and never gotten any MP points for CPU difficulty so what gives?
