100% Route Notes(WIP)

Well, now that Any% is faster than a blink of an eye and there is no route on 100%, I figured I would put some notes up here.

The 100% Route is very tough to do fast, even with Tasco's table of seeds. But, this is what I have formulated so far so hopefully this can be expanded on.

The best character to use is Tynnestra the Sorceress. She starts off knowing magic, has a higher starting base pay, has a higher spell power, and has a higher max spell capacity. Magic will be very important in this run.

1. Leadership
It is worth noting how Leadership works in this game. Basically, every unit has a set HP. You need a Leadership equal or greater than a Unit's HP to hire ONE of that unit. For instance, a Militia has 2 HP per unit. If you had 100 Leadership, you could hire 50 Militia. If your unit's total HP is higher than your leadership, you lose control of that unit until your Leadership goes higher than the total HP.

2. Magic
The spells you will be needing are as follows:
3-4 Castle Gates
4+ Town Gates
6-10 Time Stop
15+ Raise Control
15+ Instant Army
Clone (Optional)

Raise Control will raise your character's Leadership by 100 per point of Spell Power. This buff lasts for 5 days (or until the end of the week, I haven't figured that much out yet). This timeframe can be extended by Time Stop.

Time Stop will stop time in game for 10 Units per point of spell power (1 unit is about 1/5 of a second). Being in Battle, a town, or in the menu pauses this. HOWEVER, walking (not flying) on any sand tiles will remove the buff completely.

Instant Army will give you Many (between 15-50) units of a certain troop, depending on the character and class. Having plenty of these for the end to build up some Elves will come in handy.

Castle Gate is important for the final stretch, as is Town Gate.

Clone is optional but can be handy for duplicating your troops in battle (though you still have to be careful of leadership). How many units you clone is based off your spell power. The formula works a bit like this:
Units Cloned = (Spell Power * 10) /  Single Unit HP
For instance, if you wished to Clone Peasants (each unit has 1 HP) and your spell power was 8, you would get 80 Peasants. Though, in a run, you would be using any Clone spells you have on Archmages.

If you come across Bridge spells in chests, burn them if you can. Any battle spells you can burn on enemies in battle. You will want as much space for the previously mentioned spells.

3. Dragons/Demons

A quick note on dragons is that they are immune to magic, whether the characters or an enemy's magic (Druid/Archmage's shoot ability). For this reason, when the final stretch comes, physical fighters will be preferred.

Demons can randomly half an entire unit. This can be very handy but only hits about 10% of the time.

One more quick note is that both Dragons and Demons are immune to Sprite and Peasant attacks.

4. Relics
Some of the Relics are very important, others not so much, but each are needed to complete 100%.
High Importance (should be sought after if feasible): Sword of Prowess (Damage +50%, 4th Continent), Crown of Command (2x Leadership, 3rd Continent), Shield of Protection (Defense +25%, 2nd Continent).
Some Importance (they will be needed but don't go out of your way early to find them): Book of Necros (2x Spell Capacity, 3rd Continent), Amulet of Augmentation (+5 Spell Power, 4th Continent).
Low Importance (provide little to no use in the speedrun): Ring of Heroism (found no effect for this, 1st continent), Articles of Nobility (+2000 Weekly Commission, 1st Continent), Anchor of Admiralty (Ship rental cost -400 Gold/week, 2nd continent)

5. Route
There are two ways to go about this: Either play normally and search every chest and hope for good RNG, or take time to look at TascoDLX's table (posted in the Guides section). Either way, the general strategy is as follows:

You first want to ditch your peasants. Now you want to wait to the end of the week for about 300 days or so (this will give you plenty of money to start). Any chest you find with money will be donated to increase your leadership. Also, change the Game Controls so that Combat Delay is 0 (this will make battles flow faster).

Search for the map to Forestria and visit any town you come across. Make note if a town has a spell that will be needed later (feel free to buy Town Gates, which can be handy for a quick warp to a town if you're far from the edge of a map after finding the map piece.

Forestria is the place if you're going in blind will cost you a lot of time and will rip a lot of runs. If you find the shield on your way, grab it now. Once you find the map to Archipelia, go there.

If you can find the Crown of Heroism before the map, great. Otherwise, you will want it shortly after getting your flying units. Once you have the map to Saharia, head there.

Now your next step is to find a flying unit. Archmages and Dragons are preferable. Once you get one, ditch your old army and keep only the new ones here. Only hire Archmages, Dragons, Demons, or Vampires and hire as much as you can of each. Grab as many of the chests as you can as well to increase your leadership. Make sure you find the Sword and Amulet here as well. YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO VISIT EACH CASTLE (this will set the warp points for later). Once you have your army, if you haven't gotten the Crown and Book, go back to Archipelia and find them.

Continentia is really easy to clear out, it just may take some time to find the right castle. Grab the Ring and Articles here and clear out the contracts. Make sure to get a Siege weapon with your first contract. Caneghor may give you the most trouble, but if you take out the Archmages fast, you shouldn't have to worry.

Once you clearned the 6 contracts in Continentia, talk to the King twice to be promoted to a Mage. This will be as high as you want to go for that. If you know of any towns that have any of the above spells, now is the time to pick them up.

Forestria is a bit more challenging, but still shouldn't pose much of a threat. Rindalus Drybone has a ton of undead enemies that can be hard to kill. Grab the Anchor here if you haven't already. Pick up any of your important spells that you noted on this continent before leaving.

Before going to Archipelia, return to Saharia and stock up on your troops. You should have plenty more money at this point. Once in Archipelia, you should be able to take out these four contracts so long as your units are full stocked. Feel free to use up any battle magic during this time, including Clone on Archmages. Czar Nikolai is going to be the hardest hitting. Don't worry if your Vampires or Demons die here. You want to keep your Dragons and Archmages in tact.

Once you clear Archipelia and have all of your spells ready, go to Saharia and stock up on Dragons. Release any Demons and Vampires you have and go back to the King's Castle. Wait for the End of the Week, then use up all your Raise Control, all of your Instant Army, then buy as many Knights and Archers as you can. Use up all your Time Stop, grab your contract to Magus Deathspell and use your Castle Gate to go to his castle.

Get rid of the Archmages and Demons as soon as you can (Elves, Archers, and Archmages should be able to make quick work). Keep your dragons close to the Peasants but don't kill them (the Dragons will be immune to them), and then just take the others should fall down easy enough. 

Town Gate to Hunterville, stock up any Archers and Knights, then grab the contract for Urthrax Killspite. Castle Gate to his castle. The fight is pretty much the same. Focus out the Archmages and Dragons (if you have over 1000 Archers, you should be able to take out the Dragons easily). Keep his units away from your archers and just focus your fire on the heavy hitters. Have your Knights tank out any of the mobs as you want to keep as many dragons as you can alive.

Town gate back to Hunterville, stock up Archers and Knights again, then take the last contract for Arech Dragonbreath. Castle Gate to his castle. Focus the Demons first and then work on the Dragons. The vampires are a bit annoying but the 2nd round of Archmage fire should take them out. At this point, you need to take out the Dragons and fast. Hopefully your Knights can tank them out as you exchange blows, but your Archers and Elves will still do an amazing amount of damage. Try to keep an archmage alive at least.

After the battle, Garrison everything except an archmage or dragon (whatever lived). This will allow you to fly again. Search for the Scepter and the game is yours.
