When I was young i thought authenticity meant accurate dinosaur pairings and paleo diets. It made sense, because paleo trees do buff authenticity, but empty enclosures can generate score. Why are they called Dino Nerds if they really just like plants? Maybe the other players who run the tutorials already know this, but here is a breakdown of environment features anyway.

• Paleo trees are only slightly more effective than their cost in modern trees (but therefore more efficient per tile)
• Lakes and mountains have the most significant effect by price
• Paleo trees have the highest authenticity value per tile, and can be combined with mountains.
• flattening land in an ocean would yeild more authenticity for slightly less price than creating lakes for authenticity, although the flatten tool is dodgy and the money we are talking about is minimal
• Fountains, while 'improving environment' do not affect authenticity scoring
