Furthermore, if I'm reading correctly then this is only for WR runs. Not for 2nd, 3rd place and onwards. Good rule change all together!
Update: Stage 22: U can skip the piranha without stopping the time.
stage 13: Freeze the ball and Skip the gems in level 13 for an additional countdown skip. This is possible. It's hard to get to 100 by stage 25 but it is possible. You can miss 1-4 gems total from 13 to 25 only!
The risky part is end of stage 15, it helps a lot if you can get 1-3 gems in the last jump.
NOT A TIMESAVE. stage 32: jump over the first 2 piranhas from the fire pillar and land on the 2nd platform and it might be faster, triggering the invincible enemy earlier.
-> Does not save time because the piranhas spawn the same time still in both methods. The piranha is the limiting factor. But if you had a time stop....
You probably need the kickstart rom, which doesnt come with the Emulator itself.
In my limited knowledge, the anthology version includes more games.
I'm like 95% sure that both of the turrican 2 switch versions in anthology and flashback are identical. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I don't think merely adding "Switch" as a platform alongside Amiga and C64 does the job, as you cannot skip the wind in the switch version which is a big time loss.
Maybe make it just like here: https://www.speedrun.com/notr
Have Any% and then Platform Amiga/C64/Switch?
I'd definitely vote for this. They aren't too comparable. Needs a separation on the leaderboards.
I mean that's just nasty. That boost onto the platform.....how precise is that whole sequence?
stage 9: correct error: instead of far jump, drop down and normal jump
stage 13: Freeze the ball and Skip the gems in level 13 for an additional countdown skip
stage 14: dont drop down but jump at the start (like Reboot)
stage 22: stopping the piranha. pick up a candy and a clock. (Idea: Candy stage 10, clock stage 21)
final dragon disappear glitch? see MightyMike's run
maybe to be updated in the future.
I would 100% stream Novice NG+ attempts if my record gets beaten. Silavent was at it for a while but I didn't hear from him again. Supposedly he got into the mid 11:5x's which is a serious take.
Is your video slowed down? I definitely cannot compare your TAS to my run at all because it runs a lot slower...
Can you provide further explanation? Can framerate be changed? Is the TAS accurate?
Probably true! Just checked back and other levels do skip at random parts as well...Well, too bad that would've been something.
Edit: Resolved: He's just using a trainer that makes it available to skip stages using a hotkey.
I've never seen this before. I have no idea what's happening here. Anyone interested in helping me investigate?

Wow that final boss was lightning speed. Holy damn. You saved a lot of time there. Easily faster than in my WR
