That kind of thread/topic should not be discussed openly. Nothing odd in this game but in other leaderboards where other moderators detected anomalies in solo performances. Commonly all runs concerning Saulonpb should be discarded and they were rejected/deleted immediately.
As you may know, Twitch is implementing the 100 hours limit pretty soon.
In this leaderboard, it is strongly recommended to do the transition from Twitch to Youtube. If your previous/obsolete and recent runs are part of the highlights on Twitch, Youtube is good option to store highlights. Unless the runs of yours are part of the 100 hours and u wanna keep them on Twitch.
You can re-submit your runs again in Dash Galaxy leaderboard and we will re-verify them again pretty soon.
Practically most runners in this leaderboard are aware of Twitch and new changes that will affect all runs submitted in the platform. The new time limit of 100 hours will be implemented soon.
You will have to re-submit your previous runs using Youtube, but if your runs are part of the 100 hours limit on Twitch, it will be fine.
Strongly recommended that links in the submission of Solomon's Key could be updated from Twitch to Youtube or other platform.
- The 100-hour storage limit applies to highlights and uploads, but not VODs and clips -
New changes on Twitch will start on April 19.
Your question goes more for Arcade version, and the answer is yes, the 40th anniv collection is quite suitable to play (especially in the Arcade Archives), but obviously you will need to wait when Arcade category could be created here before you submit your future runs, since NES runs are already here in this leaderboard @ProtoPugs
Damageless category could be an interesting category to add in the future. Several NES games have that like Ninja Gaiden NES. Eventually it will be added that category. In relation to blindfolded runs could be not necessary to be created, proabably down to do it as a showcase performance rather than a speedrun category.
Since Nemo has very optimizable strats for all 3 versions, I am gonna decide to extend the gameplay performance for the categories Any%, 1 CC and Deathless for 1 Player and 2 Players.
This will be great to separate modes into sub-categories and probably variables, which in the future more new runs will be submitted in this leaaderboard, according to the new rules established in 2023.
For Example:
Main Category: Any%
Sub Category 1: Difficulty (Easiest-Normal-Hardest)
Sub Category 2: Energy Bar Status (Minimum-Medium-Maximum)
Sub Category 3: Regions (Japan 901120, World 901109, World 901130)
The Any% example will be applied also for 1 CC and Deathless in 1 Player and 2 Players. The changes will be there in a moderate period of time by checking all runs, the obsolete ones and the most recent runs.
Taking in consideration the mandatory requirement for practically all runs... by checking all submissions if all runs have not shown dip switches and regions they will be put as "Easiest Difficulty, Default Region (World 901130) and Default Energy Bar Status: Medium".
Well, getting the laser could be one helluva challenge to achieve and keep it (especially in main bosses). By seeing your request, this looks like a "retroachievement-ish style" by getting that item.
The purpose of this leaderboard and the game is to end it, by all resources that 1943 can offer you, and in some way you can trigger those strats if you are a master or you are lucky.
The request looks like a segmented performance by rounds, which probably could not fit in this leaderboard. Extraofficially, that kind of category is not necessary to be created, since "Any" is the main goal for solo player and 2 Players. Officially, if this segment/category could be here it should be put as Miscellaneous for all ports, and definitely I will ask NesCardinality if he agrees or not by DM'him.
It will take some time to get an answer immediately, but it will be written in this thread. Thanks for your idea.
Unfortunately for GB ports the info of emulators is not mentioned or specified, but for GB stuff I use Bizhawk 2.8 for GBA and this Bizhawk/Emuhawk does emulate the game pretty well. Probably Bizhawk is the one you wanna use. Good luck.
Go to Help + Scroll down to "Open a Support Ticket" and click on "New Ticket" + you will be given some actions to choose, you must choose only one + Probably click in 1st option and then you write all things involving new MM hack games. GL.
Probably it is possible to add MM rom hacks games by creating a new leaderboard. You gotta get a ticket thru SR dot com mentioning all the data about those hack games, and they can be added to MM series as "hack" and "unofficial".
Some weeks ago I found out that in Mame versions there is Final Fight 2 bootleg, created in 1996.
It is called Final Fight 2 (SNES Bootleg) which I can confirm that is a pirate/unlicensed version based on the Super Famicom game, and adapted to be played in Arcade. First, this bootleg was put to be emulated in Mame 0.126u5, and obviously you can find it in the Mame 0.270.
Second, this version was totally upped in Difficulty mode, with a very Arcade mode. Dip Switches, Lives, Coinage... all that implemented and fixed in newer versions. @CzaR is totally right about it, about the experience by playing this Bootleg version.
The rom is easy to remember, it is called "ffight2b"
