I clicked on your profile and saw all your links so I’m gonna say it’s fine for me.
You'd only be able to autosplit if you play on emu, and even then that's questionable since idk what tools available to a SNES emu would allow you to watch the memory well enough to build an autosplitter.
More than likely, you're not going to find an autospliter for a non-PC game.
Then unfortunately you don’t get them back. If you’ve saved over them, then they are gone. It’s just like saving over anything else on a computer.
Always make backups of stuff you don’t want to overwrite or delete accidentally.
Pac is in the middle of re-doing the site. I don’t think you’ll see any new features added, unless they are fixing significant bugs, for a little while. Unfortunately, it’s more than likely that you’re going to have to wait until that major project is done.
That is correct. It behaves the same way twitch partners work and it pulls your badge from the API every so often. So no badge on twitch, no icon here.
Did you intentionally search for the 3 oldest threads you could find and bump them

Various options can be found there. Most common program is LiveSplit. WSplit also still gets some use occasionally.
CTRL+F5 to flush your cache, that’s the most common solution to that.
Both and so much more than that. Every game starts with a person or group of people who find interest in running it for one reason or another (childhood favorite for example). Communities can eventually develop around a game and the more people that work at, the more improvements that are made.
Sometimes people search for glitches, other times they try to optimize different parts of it. TAS runs help with this - TASers can find various strats and then others may try to find ways to make them viable for humans to use. Eventually, the game gets faster and more optimized after years of ideas, practice and research.
Every game develops differently, but usually all of the above contribute in one way or another. There’s no formula for a game and a run to develop, it’s a pretty organic process that just needs people to search for what’s possible and what’s faster.
LiveSplitOne (browser based) or Llanfair (needs Java).
Alternatively you can run anything else through Wine if you wanted to (like WSplit or regular LiveSplit).
It’s usually all visual or sound based. Usually there are visual or audio cues that tell you when the right time perform an input is. After that it’s just practice to get the timing down.
If you’re having difficulty with something, I’d recommend going to the games’s community to get some help with setups.
My first guess would be a bad ROM. Almost sounds like you’ve got a PAL ROM instead of an NTSC one. I’d start by grabbing a different ROM (making sure it’s NTSC) and see if that improves anything. I’m not super savvy on NES emulation so I can’t really troubleshoot the emu itself, maybe someone else can help with that.
People are still routing a KH3 Platinum RTA, it’s taking time to get a pretty optimal route, but it is being worked on. I don’t know when it’ll be ready, but I see updates on it every few days usually.
I would recommend almost anything else to local record runs with unless you need a specific feature of amarec or behavior only it can provide.
Just use broadcasting software like OBS and local record instead of stream. That way you can still use a layout if you wanted to.
A lot of HDMI USB capture devices can introduce a few seconds delay to the capture. This usually isn’t a problem unless you’re trying to play off the captured feed at which point this makes it almost impossible.
As for price, $100 wont get you anything decent, you’ll need around $180 to get something that functions well with minimal delay. The Elgato HD60s is a good example of that, and I would recommend it if USB capture is your goal and you don’t want to shell out more than that. I don’t know the yen to USD conversion rate off the top of my head so I don’t know how that JP price compares.
Some games might require splits to be submitted in place of a video if you’re time is below a certain threshold. As an example, maybe a game doesn’t require video proof until you’re below 30 minutes, but if you’re above 30 minutes and you don’t provide a video, then you need to submit splits.
In general though, they really are just a convenient tool for you as a runner. Just double check the rules to make sure there aren’t any cases like the above.
You’re right, the games are different on the two platforms which is why the LBs are separate. They share the same game here, but since PS4 and 3DS are subcategories, the LBs are independent of one another. So, I’m not entirely sure what your issue is with it, can you elaborate on what you see as issues?
And the 3D box art being chosen is something minor imo, but since there’s no PS4 specific art (given that it’s part of 2.8 ) I don’t know what the better option is.
