KH FM HD is part of the Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5 collection. The collection contains 1FM HD, ReCoM HD, 2FM HD, BBS FM HD and movies for Days and ReCoded.

To practice this game, you just playthrough it and make saves at various points. Most people will make saves before bosses (to practice boss fights) and at the start of every world (to practice the entire world). You have 99 save slots to work with and you shouldn't even come close to needing that much.
There are tons of notes in the Guides section of the LBs and Bl00dyBizkitz has a video guide on his YT. It's for the PS3 version so it's a little outdated but it's a good starting point. Watching a run will be the best video help outside of that (just make sure to note that JP and English have a slightly different route so watch a run for whatever version you'll be using).
SGDQ is choking the site with traffic. It will be back to normal a few days after the event ends.
I can't imagine why it would be against any rules for the game, but if you want to be absolutely sure, ask the mods for the game you're looking to run.
Doesn't look like any of the LBs for Dead Space really have any posted guides, so you're best bet is to reach out to the various runners through the forums for Dead Space 2 and 3 for help and questions.

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking, but if you're talking about just adding a field to the submission form, I think that's something the moderators can do since it's just an extra variable that will be displayed on the LBs.

Pretty sure both of these are bots since they are embedding links to sites in their messages. Props to them for making the messages appear topical. (latter will need extra cleanup since someone responded to the thread.)
gv-usb2 is what you're thinking of. it's always my personal recommendation when people ask for a USB capture card.
It's probably the best standard def capture card out there and it's not expensive at all (around $40 USD on Amazon). The installation of the drivers is in japanese, but it's only two clicks and there's guides online. The drivers come on a CD or can be downloaded off the website using the serial number on the back of the capture card (site is in Japanese as well iirc, however a translation of the page with Chrome makes navigating it easy).
Fargo (TV Series). It's on FX, but it's episodes all end up online like everything else these days.
Each of the current 3 seasons are 10 episodes long and tell an individual story. Sometimes the characters are connected, but each season has it's own central plot/storyline. The themes/settings are all inspired by the movie Fargo, so if you're not a fan of that kind of black/dark comedy with violence sprinkled in then it might not be for you. But it's still worth checking out as it's one of the best anthology type TV series of recent.
Also as a note, it's SGDQ week, and a number of mods may be more inactive than normal due to being at the event.
Im by no means an OBS wizard, but I know in XSplit there is a "window region" capture option that I can use to either grab A ) the gameplay only of an emulator B ) if I click and drag, I can make a custom "box" that will capture whatever is inside of it. I can use this to capture the entire emulator program.
I'm pretty sure OBS has an option similarly named to that that can do what you desire. Hopefully someone more savvy with OBS will respond and give you more explicit answers, but maybe that'll be enough of a push in the right direction to get you what you're looking for.
XSplit is not a timer, it's broadcasting software that is an alternative to OBS.
Most common timers are Livesplit, WSplit and occasionally Llainfair.
Timers are easy to set up, you simply download the program and when you run it you can edit your splits to add as many splits as you'd like. If you're using something like Livesplit, you'll have a ton of customizable features to make your timer's look and feel unique to you. After that, you use broadcasting software like OBS or XSplit to capture the timer as a source where you can add that to your layout. You can do similar captures with your webcam, gameplay (either from a capture card or emulator) and set it all up in your layout.
Note that since you're running on emu you'll need to adjust the LB filters to show "Console and Emulator" runs because emu runs are hidden by default.
