Thanks for informing me. Also 5-6 seconds is close to 7-8 seconds so it doesn't matter that i JUST missed it by a second or more.
I just want to know why most top level 70 star runners play on the us version of the game and not the japanese version. The japanese version saves like 7-8 seconds in the opening cutscene over the us version.
Thanks for correcting me randomno and i might join the discord one day but i'll give tips on club penguin island on that game's forums.
And the reason why you don't see any emulator runs is because they are hidden by default but you can adjust the settings to show runs on emulator in the filter box.
Apparently not i'm so confused right now.
Don't swear on a christian server pls! But anyway i've used the sentence "i will kill all of you with my AK-47 you f--kers" and got banned very quickly so try using that sentence i just gave you.
B-but i thought this game closed down and you posted this thread after the game's shutdown so how could someone run this game unless you are talking about the series and not this game specifically. And everyone has moved to club penguin rewritten because it's a post shutdown remake that is pretty much the same but with minor differences (most of which aren't speedrun related) and there's club penguin island too which is a successor to the original game that isn't well received by the community.
I didn't really say it was a time save but said it was a POTENTIAL time save which to me means a possible time save but not being all that sure about it.
What god's work? Sorry if i sound kind of... well dumb i would say.
Dolphin emulator has slower load times i think and so does vc so i'll download it.
R.i.p My 5:32 i just got :(
Gotta run on emulator now.
Maybe the mods can confirm about R4s. I have alot of knowledge about NSMBW and i lack that with this game at the moment.
1.) Emulator is allowed. But i would recommend playing on a ds or the WiiUVC version of the game.
2.) I recommend getting a elgato capture card or some other capture card.
3.) DeSmuME is allowed (i think) but i don't know about any other emulator.
Edit: I don't know about if you have to play on a real cart so the run can count. My guess is if you are playing on a ds family system you must play on the official cartridge.
I watched a nintendrew video about playing japanese n64 carts on a US n64 and mentioned that it doesn't work with a pal n64. Maybe he forgot to mention about the expensive modification or something.
I've always played with the wiimote because it feels nice and nunchuck is VERY awkward to use in my opinion.
