Anyway, you have your Disk game installed on your HDD right? It allows the game to load faster. I wonder therefore if there's differences between a digital copy and a disk version installed on HDD.

#12 is done, no big changes. I managed to gain 10 seconds on the pursuit by ending it just when I needed, but that's all.

WSplit is cool. I personnally use LiveSplit, which I think is the easiest one to set, and I find it very clear to see (but it might be just a personnal taste).

I won't go there, that's for sure, it's too far from France and I don't have enough money to go there. But if I have the possibility I'll try to go to ESA.

I totally agree with this idea, , but I think, to be more interesting, you should submit Amateur difficulty, with an incentive for Professional (if you manipulate your saves it should be possible), and why not submit NG+?

But whatever you submit it remains a good thing, because it might have better chances to make RE5 be known to the speedrunning community.

#13 is done, and as I told previously, I gained 3 whole minutes on the pursuit. It might be a bit harder for #12 tho.

I'm currently doing #13 videos, and I've just gained and incredible amount of time during the pursuit.

I can't say precisely, but I think I gained between 2:40 and 3 minutes. Incredible luck for the cops spawns, and a huge fail transformed in an epic win. Should be up for the 09 sept., I need to do duel races tomorrow.

I never played this game on PC so I can't tell much about it, but for the 2-1 lock glitch, you can use electric grenades to destroy it, at least.

The 6-2 rockets on tentacles are possible normally, if the last isn't possible in that spot, I think that it's doable if you shoot on the wall at the bottom of the stairs.

And the 3-2 glitch isn't possible with a patched version of the game. I suppose it's only possible with the first release version of the game, but I need someone who knows to confirm it or not.

All runs are timed RTA, IGT is just used as a comparison between runs, but it's not the main criteria. If you want to do IGT only, I suggest you to play chapters one by one and use the In game timer you can see at the end of every chapter.

I've found a new strat for the pursuit, which allowed me to gain nearly 1 minute.

New #15 is uploaded.

This time it's faster then my previous segment, mostly due because of the pursuit chase that ended perfectly this time. I verified 3 times there is no mistake this time, so it should be ok.

I just thought that the heat won't probably be exactly the same, so to avoid this I'll re-record every race starting from the Sonny's one I see the cops.

EDIT : Sonny's segment will be available tomorrow, should be better. I found that I got 1500 extra cash in that segment the 1st time, for the same reasons than the #11 segment.

I already understood this night that I had to restart my run. No problem it's the best to do. I don't have backup saves because one save can only be saved at one place. I can save for example apfter #12 on HDD, and after #11 on the cloud, but if I save again after #10 on the HDD this will be the only save I can reload.

I think I can use most of the races I've done before though. Bounty and cash amounts are seen only during menus, so I can cut it while editing. The only thing I'll have to do again are the pursuits, because yes, this is 100% RNG, so it's impossible to get exactly the same bounty.

Is this allowed? Or should I redo all the races too? (I plan on doing the drags again cause I messed them up though, and I can check the sprints in which I used speedbreaker).

Stop saying that I used 2 profiles, or that I replayed a race, or another hypothesis like this, please.

This is already annoying enough for me. I know it's my mistake, but why would I try to f¤ck my speedrun for a few cash I don't even need?

The problem is only that I finished once the race, my recording failed and recovered it by changing track order. Nothing else, no intention of cheating or going faster.

Moreover, I did say that my glitch was useable only in circuits and knockouts, and at this point of the speedrun I didn't do any circuits apart the first one with rog and the ones during blacklist duels.

¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤ First of all, as I watched #11 this run should NEVER EVER get accepted - it's just completely f¤¤¤¤ up, there is no way I myself accepting this sort of segments. Why the hell do you start the #11 with 1 race completed? Why do you race it again? Why in the world some other completed events just suddenly appears to be uncompleted? Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is not the way segmented run should be.

Second, some critics. You didn't tune your car: this is bad. Ask @eclipsx about what tuning can do to your times. I've helped him with that and he improved his times for from ~2 to ~5 seconds. Use it, this is a segmented run after all. Speedbreaker. WTF? You should never ever use it. I can accept it in a corner because of its weird physics, but in a drag race... No, just no.

And the last part. This part is just my opinion so don't take it too serious. Your driving is good, no doubt in that, but it's missing something. I don't know, but I get extremely bored watching you drive. I don't get that feeling when I watch Ewil's or eclipsx' runs, that's what called "style". They do have their particular style of racing, while you seem to miss it. ¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤

1. This is messy because of my recordings. It failed at some point and I had to cut out some parts. So the order of the tracks has been changed during the editing. that's why. No will of cheating or grinding money.

2. I didn't tune my car at some point cause I have only transmission, as I made some tests, it's faster to keep racing like this than putting it. But it's really more efficient with the new engine gained after #12.

3. Speedbreaker was used in the drag race cause otherwise I would crash in the truck. And going far to the left is too slow. Even if it's only a basic car on the right I keep crashing into it.

4. My driving style? To understand well : I'm firstly a well-ranked driver on Forza Motorsport games, and I just drive it same. I try as most as possble to take good lines, and keep as much speed as possible. I just think this is a clean driving style with no useless things. But this is personnal tastes.

5. The rev limiter? Same reason than previously. Sometimes it's faster to hit limiter than gear up.

So, well, I should say thanks for your comments, but now, what should I do? I mean, yes, I can do the #11 segment again, but I'll have to start a new career (X360 don't have quick saves and so on). And my bounty level won't be the same, but as I didn't uploaded #10 yet (planned to do it this night), it's ok. But if I begin another career, then it will take some time for me to catch up(but at least I already have my races done, just a few to do again seriously)

As I understand your reaction, it seems that you were expecting too much from me. I'm not perfect, I'm still really young in the world of speedrunning, I can make some mistakes.

So let me know what you would like me to do ( but I suppose I must restart a career), and I'll try to do my best to recover.

interesting fact : So as I saw when I was routing the game, you come back to heat 1 when you unlock Rockport, but right now I unlocked Camden Beach, and I stayed at heat level 2.

To speedrun, you need a few things :

• A video -> Depending on which support you play, you can record it yolo with a camera (although it's only if you have nothing else due to the poor quality), or record your screen/TV with a capture card.

• Splits : This isn't an obligation, but it's better for you so you can compare your times more precisely. Most common split applications are LiveSplit, XSplit... You can find them in the 'resources' menu.

• And most likely, time ! Learning a game and mastering it is a very long process.

Auddy and uhTrance have already told about some other points, and with this you can get started. If you have some problems don't hesitate to ask more questions.
