It exists for RE4, so I guess it shouldn't be too hard to create for RE5, if anyone has the will to do it.

With times that are actually fast that would be great. Not with times that are actually 5 seconds or more slower than actual WRs...

1- NG+ only (NG runs must start from scratch as stated in the rules)

2- Depends if you plan to do NG or NG+. You can afk as you want as long as you don't quit in NG because timing is RTA. On NG+ you can't pause unless you do a tactical reset because it will break IGT. Refer to the few guides explaining what you need to know about resets, in the Guides section.

Mods will confirm or correct what I said someday.

I was talking about ILs. Game runs is almost the same but one exception : my run is competitive. Any% isn't because category itself is trash, but ryo% is.

There isn't much spot anymore... but I just said that it will never be competitive and it will stay empty forever.

Didn't see. It's added. But just to know, why do you submit these here? You do know that no one else will actually bother to post their times here, and even if someone does, it's not gonna be competitive times. ( Many of these times don't even exist on YT anymore as well)

by normal means, yes. It's possible to go over that limit with clutch drafting, but it's not useful in time attack at you must not race opponents.

I don't believe PC disconnects coome from lags. As it happens always at the same spots. It's either the game netcode(on PC, because on X360 it's rare) or an issue related to GFWL/Steamworks doing shit. Anyway some people can play without problem for some reason and most just can't. Aaand as no one looked at this issuen it's gonna stay unplayable like that.

Maybe this is on purpose, but when I click on a speedrun.com link (wherever it is), I'm not connected with my account anymore on that tab. And also the semi-automatic connect doesn't work anymore on this tab as well, I have te re-enter manually my username and password. But if I open my regular speedrun.com page (from my firefox homepage), I'm automaticly connected as it's supposed to be.

So yeah, is it on purpose? Happens everytime but didn't think of submitting here before.

I'd say that yes, at least full game runs, should be rejected if they use pause buffering. But I don't know how much time IGT can be saved, post patch. If it's not much, maybe we can leave it at that.

Just look at his best 1-1 : 8:09. And about if it should be allowed, my answer is no.

Imagine if it was still possible post-patch, we could even mess IGT SS times for full game runs. Totally wrong.

For GoW 2 we didn't tryhard much tbh. Our run has still some deaths. And we didn't research a lot for glitches. We used chainsaw bug because we already knew how to do it as we used it a lot in multiplayer :D

Boomshields might be an option on some places but not in the same spots as you use it in solo. The boomshield clip in act 5, before a door with 2 circular "cranks", for example is a timeloss in coop. But again we didn't look too much for it. The only clip we tried to do something is in act 5 when a crane is needed to cross some buildings rooftops. We tried a barrier clipping with Boomshield, which was a success, but we didn't manage to get a trigger once under the map.

We are currently doing GoW 3. Same as gow2, not much tryhard. Once thing is sure, the loadings are waaaay faster on One than 360. We barely can do better than the 3:16 solo run. Atm we're 3:18, and our sum of best in on 3:12. But we're only 2 players tho. Could be faster if we had a 4-player team.

Also my mate is gonna buy a One soon, so we might run as well the backwards compatible version on Gow 1 2 & 3. Gow 3 BC is almost sure, the others we still need to decide. And no UE is not in our plans. Maybe gow 4 later although I didn't like the gameplay at all when I did the beta.
