ILs for every level was a thing. But that being a ridulous amount of runs to verify and the vast majority would be tied for 1st place there is no point to having it. 8-4 is really the only one that matters. Also I have heard somewhere that Minus World Ending was traditionally ran as the Main Category in Japan so we treat it that way still. Also Minus World US doesnt have an official ending where MWE does and can take you to 2nd quest like darG mentioned. I believe it does make sense for the leaderboards to stay the same way they are currently.
People watch twitch streams for 2 reasons. They either like the gameplay or they like interacting with the streamer. If you can do both you are good to go ?.
Sorry I didn't post here first. The rules for this category are here: https://pastebin.com/8Vwh8Awt Hopefully a warpless version can be done in the future. I'm sure many people will find this category fun to play.

LUL I'm the only one you didn't put the full username. Interesting find though.
You can make a spreadsheet like many players do of your observations of what they do when you get on certain paces. This of course is helpful if you only get to 8-3 on a handful of framerules. The best thing to do is get a practice rom like Pellsson and just practice reacting to all kind of different patterns of hammerbros in general.
Literally nothing was Revolutionary or discovered in this video.
Thanks Roopert. Yeah Noobguy its never wrong to be kind. If someone treats you unkindly back that doesn't mean you did anything wrong. Just that some people are unkind. Anyway I understand people can be frustrated that runs may take some time to get verified. It happens and theres not much reason to get in a fuss about it. Mods will get to them when they can.
I submitted the run. It's in the mods hands now to discuss. Either we scrap the old rule if it doesn't allow it or we make a separate category. Either way this is a definite speedrun that needs to be a thing and shouldn't be ignored.
I just made this quick spreadsheet based on the current leaderboards as well as any personal knowledge of the actual standings (Given there are a lot of records that have happened but were not submitted yet) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zsG_ExGNunFXdbqyez4UuF7FnY2AQGPPGe99ZLb7Uwk/edit?usp=sharing
Hope this is helpful to anyone interested in it.
StuckInAPlate has saved the framerule with FPG in 8-1. It requires a perfect fast accel at the beginning of the level to save 2 frames and then a perfect Mavpole to save the total 21 frames required.
I don't understand why emulator runs must "require" and input file to be accepted. I'd understand that it can help, but it certainly shouldn't be a requirement. Does an input display count? Where do we access the input files?
The video was in 30FPS so there really is no way to objectively confirm there was or wasn't lag frame.
Its hard enough to beat the game Blindfolded. When there is more than 1 person thats done that then maybe add the One Hand to it. And upside down controller might be too much of a meme.
