@TheGrindingIce i feel like every run having to be deathless would make many players shake nervously and therefore dying is allowed obiviously, so no sweating. It just makes or breaks WRs

@ErwinTV i think if these werent allowed, everyone would need a specific screen for speedrunning, and if theres nothing about it in the rules, you should be fine

well thats a way to have it on 1.8.9. The thing is that i want Optifine for the latest 3 editions bc after 1.17 my machine handles MC with 30FPS on optimal settings. Maybe because the world gen changed a lot

@PoisonousSkely well at least in minecraft. Other games have countless runners use LiveSplit.

i have the same problem, i just cannot install Optifine for some reason. I know i had it on my old PC to have some aditional FPS, but on my newest machine im outta luck.

have u ever SEEN the f3 menu in runs??? Most players use Sodium (the version that @aconnx pointed out) or Optifine, so its definetely allowed.

There are glitches in the game that make boats drop the old loot (pre 1.3 loot for that matter) even tho mojang doesnt want you to do it. Also, @aconnx yea, this may be another freaking bot

Any seed is good for SS, but often there is that one cool and fast seed that everyone uses

@aconnx i have AMD Vega and no option for that because its in the NVIDIA panel
