There are more times to add on All Unlocks. Plus, Tooro's 1:00:08 time is the only Vita time.
The PC Engine Duo/TurboDuo is your best choice. Even though it's expensive, it's region-free and comes with the CD add-on (in case you would ever want that). English is faster, but it is very expensive. I choose to stick with Japanese to keep the playing field even.
If anyone wants to compete, I look forward to verifying their runs.
What makes a good leaderboard? Here we can show each other leaderboards and ask for advice on making a good one.
My 9:16:36 in WarioWare Mega Microgames. Would definitely improve if I could run it regularly though.
Compete with me in:
World Court Tennis
Mr. Golf
WarioWare Mega Microgames 100%
Not as a separate category, just as an amendment that tells you a detail.
The European version has 5 languages. Go through each run and add the language the game had been played in for each run. The USA and JP runs will be easy. But some of the European runs are different languages than English.
What would the requirements for 100% be?
Do you have a Wii U? You can get it there.
I’m not the guy for emulators. Try asking someone else.
If it doesn't load faster than Wii U VC, than it's okay.
Before, both of my runs were on the leaderboard. Now, just my PB. Really, use any version you want. Anyone else want to try 100%?
In 100%, easier is faster because it makes unlocking microgames faster.
Everyone playing should switch to Japanese. Anyone starting should start with Japanese. I thought English was faster in 100% (or you should use whichever language you were good with) but Japanese is the best. This isn't due to text speed or glitches, but rater difficulty. The Japanese microgames are ever so slightly more forgiving than the USA ones at least. It's definitely not something that was obvious to find out.
Now that that's discovered, can my English runs be removed from the leaderboard?
Please remove outdated times from the leaderboard. Or make it so I'm not in 2 places at once.
USA is the fastest version, but not by much. It only saves about a minute. It's anyone's game really. Just use whichever language you understand the best, as using a language you don't understand costs more time.
Two new minor timesavers, one that will alter the route significantly:
First, in Mona’s boss, hammer the nail multiple times on each pass like in the any% run.
Second, the route needs a change. Unlock all microgames on Crygor and Kat’s stages, but not Orbulon’s. Do this before both runs of Jimmy 3 to decrease the chances of slow Orbulon microgames. Same with Easy and Thrilling- unlock all microgames for everyone except Orbulon, complete Thrilling, then unlock Orbulon’s microgames. This should save a couple minutes.
Just got 9:16:36 last month. Was going to save the update for USA but I want the record back now that the category is more popular.
There are now six categories in Party Girls: 100% (Set 3 8 times) Middle Path (Set 1 8 times) and Longest Path (Set 2 8 times) and there are two variations of each: Cutscene Skips and Cutscenes (which doesn't do the skips).
My current PBs for each are:
100% CS: 30:15 MP CS: 39:28 LP CS: 40:54 100% C: 1:30:59 (My 1:27:38 has cutscene skips in it on the final minigame) MP C: 1:37:28 LP C: 1:52:02
BTW, I want to be a moderator for the Simple 2000 series so I can create this.
New update!
Party Girls
100%: 33:56 (Japanese PS2)
Longest Path: 41:54 (Japanese PS2)
Edit: 100% was 33:09. Longest Path was 40:54. There were resets.
