They are supposed to come out in a major update that will be released on March 28th along with other dream friends, Marx and Gooey. This info was released in the Nintendo Direct not too long ago (maybe before that but was definitely in the Nintendo Direct)

So I see that pretty much almost everyone uses King Dedede over hammer Kirby for The Ultimate Choice. Was just wondering, is there a reason for this? Does it have to do with range or something?

It would be cool if there was a guest star category at least for meta knight since it kind of replaces meta knightmare mode thing from past games

for the update characters that will be released later would be cool too

maybe for other difficulties of The Ultimate Choice too

So I'm just wondering, do you only need picture proof time of your results in The Ultimate Choice speedruns or do you need video proof cause sadly i dont have a capture card. I could record it with a phone which would look terrible but i dont know if thats allowed either.
