Your theory is correct. I managed to get Mario on top. you need access to both P Switches. once you have them hold one and trigger the other and run left. dodge the deadly obstacles and jump off the mole that was in-caged in the very first part of the level and then perform a P Switch jump and land onto the roof.
I've only managed to get Mario on top of the roof by jumping off the mole and then P Switch jumping. I know that you can in fact receive access to both P Switches. I don't know if the journey back is feasible or if the mole that you need to jump off of falls off the step denying you from performing the trick during your return.
When starting Neo Tournament and you verse Shuji, it's faster to try to get a Critical K.O. on him and to achieve only 2 double stands rather than getting three double stands in a row. If done properly Shuji should have only one gate card won from a double stand he performed (optimal) unless he started a battle which is not what you want happening. I wouldn't risk trying to perform Critical K.O's on the other two Neo tournament opponents.
In the late stages of Tag Team I feel that obtaining a full S.Power orb from the battlefield on your first throw and then using Leonidas's Special Shot on your second throw to launch a Critical K.O. attack on an opponent is faster then the previous strat used. One gate card win from you winning a battle with the first bakugan you threw, a second one from leonidas's special shot (enter battle with leonidas if attack missed if a battle can be performed) and the third either by dan getting lucky and winning a battle or if he fails, you winning another battle on your third throw.
Use the same strats for the Battle Royal tournament.
For when Marduk battles you after the battle royal segment I found that its better to collect a S.Power orb on your first throw and on your second place a gate card unless Marduk already has. Use Leonidas's special shot and on your third perform a double stand. You want Marduk to do the same. Afterwards, attempt to perform another double stand to win the battle.
I might run this game in the future.
Through out my time playing, my splits keep record of all my attempts and my best segments. The sum of all of my best segments combined comes to a total of 2:45.88. https://splits.io/5yd7
There are no other splits that I can find with a lower Sum of Best
There is an American runner by the name of "Scottie_Fox". He has the WR for Easy 100 Man on the WiiU with a final time of 3:34.xx.
In his run there were small but definite time losses. The WiiU and the 3DS probably have different load times and stuff like that.
The best level and best segment that i ever got is a level where the theme is SMB1 and you instantly touch the flagpole via a fast conveyor. The theme plays a big role in time gain if the level ends quickly as NSMBU takes a considerable amount of time to load. Not to mention that the load times are quicker on the New Nintendo 3DS/2DS systems.
Most easy levels I've played have seamed to favor the NSMBU theme. Most likely due to the fact that MOST of the easy levels are made by the younger generation who are more compelled to the HD 3D version of the Mario Bros. franchise as the older versions appealed more to the slightly older generation who probably grew up with the game/s or grew up in the same time period of their release.
yes of course. Just as long as the video shows you beating the level and that the final time is visible. Make sure not to trim the medals out of the video. You can update your videos with the same date that your previous video got published on (if its beaten in the same amount of time). If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.
Speedrun.com can't fit the whole thing here so i saved it to a text document on Google Drive of which you can access below

Or show a clip of the end of the level with the timer and the medals. I've done this many times especially on very tight WRs on levels such as W6-4 because it's more comfortable then leaning over a camera. Full video of the run would be preferred. Make sure you film the medals at the end. This is crucial evidence that you didn't cheat/edit the level
In the rules it states that "All runs must start from a fresh file". Back when I was mod this just meant starting from the beginning of the Super Mario Challenge. my previous WR has been rejected due to these conditions and I haven't found a way to erase all the medals and player statistics without making/using a new Nintendo ID account and then installing the game again. If anyone knows how or if R0main could clarify, that would fantastic.
Hi, sorry I couldn't be active on speedrun.com. I had an amazing job opportunity with the Canadian Armed Forces in the summer and it took me away from my life back home. they sent me home a few months ago and now with this recent pandemic happening ive been indoors. Im looking into running this game again to get my WR up there but I am not fully committed. I respect the mod replacement change and I'll see how this will all play out.
