I am willing to take on the role of a Moderator for this game. Since I play the game and learned how the other consoles operate. It's good to have a mod who plays the game as they know the gameplay mechanics. I've also taken notice that @WiiSuper is one of the backbones of the LEGO Speedrunning community and is only moderating this game because it exists, which is commendable. I already have Email Authentication turned on as I moderate 2 other small ds/3ds games.
Side note: every ds/3ds lego game has red blocks instead of red hats and also Isla Cruces is spelt wrong on the IL leaderboard.

What I did is that I took the high score and subtracted the collection score and perfect bonus which always adds up to 9000 points. That leaves us with only the time score. If we divide the time score by 20 we will get the final time. Keep in mind these are all 100% times. So it's kinda dumb that we have slower Any% times.
1-DK 13,480 - 9000 = 4,480 4,480/20 = 224 Time: 1:16
3-DK 13,840 - 9000 = 4,840 4,840/20 = 242 Time: 0:58
5-DK 13,600 - 9000 = 4,600 4,600/20 = 230 Time: 1:10
6-DK 13,700 - 9000 = 4,700 4,700/20 = 235 Time: 1:05
I was testing to see if my phone would be able to record a full game run of the Super Mario Challenge. Turns out that it doesn't and my phone cuts a recording when the file size reaches 4GB or when the recording length reaches one hour. Therefor, due to this my run was split in two. It's an amazing run with only 3 deaths and some minor time losses. However I can't verify it as that goes against basic video recording rules for runs and for the fact that would be very unprofessional of me to do.

Hi, I use to play this game a lot and I'm interested in running it on a 3DS physical cartridge. However, I'm concerned about load times between consoles as I know there is a PSP emulator run and a ds cartridge run. My memory could be deceiving me but I don't think that the 3ds version can compete with a psp emu. And i don't think a DS can compete with the 3ds. I've sadly lost my old copy and I recently saw this game at a local pawn shop for a reasonable price. However, I know that Any% will take a while and I shouldn't worry about it.
We have now combined the 3 Super Mario Maker speedrunning communities to one Discord server. This is the primary server for the Super Mario Maker, Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS, and Super Mario Maker 2 speedrunning communities.
Very sudden changes have been made to this site and I will address them in this forum post.
1.) The title name for the game has been changed to it's actual name which includes the period and exclamation point in the title.
2.) I've fixed the category issue where a category would not visually say that it was empty even though it was.
3.) I took it upon myself to redo the entire IL leaderboard configuration and to edit each and every single run submitted so that it falls into this new system.
4.) I've gotten rid of the Full Attractions being an IL category and put them under miscellaneous in the Full-Game Leaderboard as well as re-submitted every Full Attraction run to their respective category.
5.) I've added a background, a new theme colour, and updated the japanese cover of this game. (none of which are important)
6.) I've Included the Donkey Kong Final Battle stage as well as all the Special Levels and Expert Levels into the IL leaderboard.
7.) I've redone the rules for the ILs as well as the Full Attractions so that they're more elaborate and understandable.
The only thing is that DK levels have different platform layouts for their Normal and Plus Modes respectfully. I've made sure to mention this in the rules so that no one can submit a Plus Mode run to the Any% or 100% category.
I apologize for any inconveniences these changes have caused. I'm glad these changes were done now rather than later as it would've taken much longer to edit everybody's IL runs.
Hi, I actually own this game on the Wii and in the campaign the mission "Black Cats" doesn't exist. I was wondering If I submitted a Any% run on the Wii would it be accepted? Since "Black Cats" usually takes around 11 and a half minutes to complete optimally. Meaning that the Wii version would save 11.5 minutes because it doesn't have "Black Cats" in it. Would it have to be its own separate category?
Hello. I'm a mod for the game "Mario vs Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem" https://www.speedrun.com/mvsdk4 And I'm asking for the title to be changed to "Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem!" Which just adds the period after "vs" and the exclamation point at the end. Any and every site that references this game has the period and exclamation point in the title except Speedrun.com. I would like to see this change.

To make optimal runs for this attraction you must time your movement perfectly to line up the perfect cannon angles. Entering cannons and firing cannons stalls every cannons movement which can be useful for timing entrances and exits perfectly.
