If you can find a way to see where the triggers are in the game then use the oob to try hit one of them out of sequence. It probably depends on the engine if this is possible or not.
Just because there has not been a run uploaded in a few months does not mean the game is dead, nor does any game require a discord. Many games have people playing them trying to get better offline and there isnt much point in uploading a new run unless you better your time. If you care so much about having found this skip, record a run claim the WR.

Also if you upload the run to youtube, after its been verified its just a matter of messaging the mod for the game and give them the updated url for the vod.
If you link your twitch to your youtube you can export them straight over and its pretty fast for a twitch service too surprisingly.
Portal should run no problem with recording, lower all the game settings to minimum and make sure your obs settings are not overly mental and you should be able to record decent enough video with no slowdown in the game.
