I prefer to stream to Twitch, however they've added this super annoying premier thing where it puts a countdown at the beginning of your video and stops it being available straight away. Looking around it appear you can't stop this, which seems insane, is that really the case?
If so I'm gonna have to be making a YouTube channel I guess.
Speaking of this, if I re-upload a run to YouTube, what's the best way to resubmit it? I have a run pending (for over a week now...) with the timer at the beginning which I intend to move to YouTube.
If you link your twitch to your youtube you can export them straight over and its pretty fast for a twitch service too surprisingly.
Also if you upload the run to youtube, after its been verified its just a matter of messaging the mod for the game and give them the updated url for the vod.
You don’t even have to message a mod the URL, just edit the run with the new video link. It’ll then have to be re-verified.
Also, having twitch auto export to YT is bad and has known issues with it just eating frames over longer videos. If you have a local copy of your run you’re better off uploading that then having twitch do the export.
Well I uploaded the video to YouTube and have edited the run, but it was already rejected due to lack of video. Are the mods notified in any way that a run was edited or is it likely to sit there unnoticed?
People have mentioned messaging a mod, but there is no messaging yet?
