You can suggest site-related stuff in the feedback thread, I think this idea was already suggested there a few months ago.

@retrohunter06 While I don't know and use anything else besides OBS, maybe something in https://www.speedrun.com/resources (under Streaming software or Video capture software) might help?
Refer to detailed game request rules: https://www.speedrun.com/gamerequestrules There are two issues with your game as you said, not being "notable" and also being a porn game.
From the rules, this answers the question pretty well:
NSFW content - Current site precedent is to not accept games built around NSFW content. If it's worse than an "R" rated movie or an "M" rated game, we probably don't want to track it. This may include certain taboo topics of a sexual nature and games that need patched to remove inappropriate content. We may find better ways to isolate this content in the future, but for now we definitely do not want to expose users to these types of games.
Another issue, depends on where the runners upload their videos, if they want to upload to YouTube or Twitch they will have to massively edit the video in order to cover the several "problematic" scenes. Editing videos of speedruns in such way is a highly suspicious action (regarding only the speedrun itself) because who knows what else you might edit in the video. Runners can theoretically upload their runs to adult sites, but the general consensus from a similar thread show that we really don't want that around here.
Also, if we put that aside for a moment, regarding the second issue:
Game types such as rom hacks, mods, mobile games, webgames, gamejolt, itch.io, and steam games will be held to some level of scrutiny. • The game should have a reasonable length such as 5 minutes or longer. • The game should show that a reasonable level of effort has been put into development from a functionality standpoint. • The game should have been played by a reasonably large number of people. • The gameplay should show some potential for optimization through speedrunning.
I watched a "speedrun" of this game, the "gameplay" can be boiled down to net time of clicking around for about only 30 seconds, the rest are cutscenes. Sure, this is the premise of point-and-click games, but there is really no real content in this case. Flash games are also taken to a higher regard because of the abundance of bad flash games around the net.
And for your other complaints: the rules have changed over the years, but are never applied retroactively. So, many flash games or short games which were accepted before, might not be accepted today.
Also, the fact that other people have run this game doesn't matter in that case.
Edit: I guess your username doesn't help either.
You should ask game-specific questions in the game forums. https://www.speedrun.com/mcbe/forum
Generally you can point a camera or your phone to the TV and it will be okay, as long as the video has decent quality. You should check with the community or mods of the game in the game forums/discord about the emulator question, the general population won't be able to help you. If you plan to TV-filming you can ask them as well, to be sure.
You can see your obsolete IL runs in the relevant leaderboard of each IL. If you are talking about seeing obsolete IL runs in a user profile, that is not possible. You can suggest site stuff in the relevant thread if you want: https://www.speedrun.com/the_site/thread/g79jt
You should ask in the game forums/discord, the community will be able to help you much better than the general population here.
@AShortKid as Lonne said, try to run both softwares (game and livesplit) as administrator. You can also run your game in windowed mode, and if you have 2 monitors you can play the game on one and put livesplit on the other.
I moderate and some games where I am the only runner, so I can understand. Unless you can get other players to run your game, don't count too much on other people. There are a lot of games with only one active runner.
Some suggestions: You can try to improve and beat your previous times by treating your past self as the "opponent", you can mess with the game yourself to try finding new strats/faster routes, and you can spice up the game by making new categories or challenges (like not using a certain game-mechanic, killing all enemies, not killing any enemies, etc)
@JXjunk As Randomno said, setting a new subcategory will make runs without it disappear from the leaderboard (although they are still exist). The trick is to set a new variable and apply it to all runs first, then turn it into a subcategory.
So, you can create a new variable of platform or emulator (even though there are built-in ones), set the non-emulator value as default, and then on the variable options choose "Set the default for all runs without a value". After that you can set this variable as a subcategory for all the full game categories, and then remove (or leave) the default option from the value.
Then you will have all runs under "non-emulator" subcategory. Move manually through all the emulator runs in your leaderboard, and then set their new variable as "emulator", and they will move to the other subcategory.
Yes, by reading their forum posts it appears they have an obsession with piracy and jail.
