You can report users through the support hub, it's just not readily available as a one-click button for each post: https://www.speedrun.com/knowledgebase/supporthub/report-user

PS: I already reported this user myself anyways, but feel free to do the same.

@Oreo321 If I undertood the original post correctly, that doesn't exactly work for the OP here, since the two timers you'd get with that method would be:

 1. RTA with loads
 2. RTA without loads

What the OP needs is:

 1. RTA without loads
 2. In-game time

Their ASL script can grab both times, but the "Game Time" timer can only be used for one of them, so currently I believe they have no option to show both at the same time.

EDIT: Got beaten to the punch lol
i think there should be [...] a way to disable comments for your run or a game in general
@linny356 That particular bit is already a reality. Please read the following 2 posts:
While I am 100% in favor of removing comments, I think this is a pretty poor argument. Comments are not magically opening a pandoras box to 18+ content, you can still expose minors to that stuff through profile themes, your profile picture, your run video, DMs, etc.

In fact it's actually better if it happens in run comments because you won't even get notified of it, and idk about others but I never go to my old runs after I've submit them.
The thing is, if any of the avenues you mentioned are used to post porn or just generally reprehensible stuff, they're still much easier to moderate as of yet, while if someone comments on a run you don't get notified or have in general no way to tell where the spam is taking place.

Thus, a new runner could come in to watch the WR for a game and get completely shocked by the amount of NSFW comments on it while noone on the community would be the wiser until the damage is done.

Unless ELO is planning to release extra moderation tools and other counter-measures (which I sure hope so), I don't see comments working out well for the site, but who knows.

 1. If you have doubts about a particular game, you'd do well to post this question on that game's leaderboard forums instead, to get the attention of other runners and have a better chance of getting an answer.
 2. It'd probably be better if you could be more specific as to what you mean by "client", as I don't have the faintest idea what that entails.
The only way you are winning the game is if you don't know what the game is.
You only start playing the game once you learn about it, so technically in that scenario you would neither win or lose.
Just get rid of pronouns and solve the problem from the source.
"Just get rid of notifications and solve the problem from the source." "Just get rid of run submissions and solve the problem from the source." "Just get rid of the site and solve the problem from the source."

Getting rid of features just because of one tiny interaction is hardly solving the problem, as there's probably a reason the feature was implemented in the first place.

In any case, I agree with @Garsh in that using "Their" is sufficient for the purpose of notifications and that the site has bigger fish to fry right now.

@Tutterey All this fellow's posts have been deleted as well. Now there's a bunch of threads that only have 1 post made by you (in response to the original post), so you might want to consider deleting your post to get rid of those threads entirely.

Just for those of you that missed it: What @Liv is talking about is a post that @matthewfelisisacheat made right above my last post that very explicitly linked to a porn site, which he promptly deleted 2 minutes later because of course he did.

That should tell you all you need to know about this whole debacle.

What am I supposed to be looking at? At first glance I only see a player disputing another player's scores, and I don't see anything weird going on in the comments.
So when i learned this clown has admitted cheating I had to shit all over him for it please do your research before judgement
We're going in circles here. Want to "shit all over him"? Ok, compile the evidence yourself, and only then come back here. End of story.

As I mentioned on this other thread of yours, you're not providing any evidence as of yet, so if you really want mods to spend their time rewatching his runs, you need to come back when you actually have compiled the evidence to support that decision.

Not to mention that the respective leaderboard mods will hardly catch a glimpse of this on the general forums.
He admitted to me and others in emails he cheated IM GIVING HIM a chance to come clean on this site
You could achieve the same by just messaging them privately to get them to come out on their terms, because making an accusatory post such as this one without posting the evidence yet only achieves one thing: making yourself look like an ass.

If the guy didn't reply to you and/or come clean on their own, you could make this post all the same once you had compiled the evidence.

PS: Mind you, I'm not saying you're necessarily an ass, but by jumping the gun in this fashion that's how you come off to the regular bystander.

Let me make a quick summary of the video in question so that you don't have to watch that abomination:

Says a person cheated Shows no proof of said person cheating Shows no proof of said person being banned on other websites Goes on a rant on why everyone should run the same 5 games like 99% of runners instead of looking for fresh opportunities

@matthewfelisisacheat The burden of proof is on the person making the claim. If you want to tarnish this person's reputation and get other people to scrutinize their runs, you have to provide the proof. So far I can't say that's been achieved, so why are we even here? Come back with the evidence and then we can start from there, in a more civilized manner.
Wait, Elo is a singular person? I thought it was a company.
That's because they actually are a company. I don't know who that @Elo account belongs to, but I don't think it's an official account for the company.
Don't worry, but right now we are rising up a giant public complaint against Elo and he can't even send a site staff to talk to us instead of him. Nothing from Elo, absolutely nothing and even if there is a response, it'll probably be a promise that is never fulfilled.
I'm not going to defend Elo since it's their job to ensure that issues like these don't go into production in the first place, but to say they haven't communicated at all is a bit misleading, when they sent their Community Manager to ask us for feedback personally:

https://www.speedrun.com/the_site/thread/4wmjo/3#ydpd1

You can still dunk on Elo for all the crap that arised from this update (which there's plenty of), but gotta give credit where credit's due.
