While I was at it, I also took the liberty to make custom trophy icons as well! I used the design for the fruits you can pickup during the game and recolored them to fit the default trophies' color scheme, and I personally think they turned out to look pretty good, so here you go:
- 1st place
- 2nd place
- 3rd place
- 4th place - Optional
- Photo of the leaderboard with the new icons for reference
I think they adapted quite nicely for the job, but I understand the style may not be for everyone.
Anyway, same as before, feel free to comment on these and use them if you liked them!
Hey there, welcome! If you're looking for free games, you can check out all the free web games here: https://www.speedrun.com/games#platform=Web&orderby=mostactive&unofficial=on
Given that Flash is almost (if not already) dead, it's best that you get accustomed to Bluemaxima Flashpoint to play these.
I'm afraid this is a duplicate thread from another thread you made. Please keep the discussion on there so that people can focus their efforts to assist you.
Bienvenue sur le site!
À quelle version de Minecraft envisagez-vous de jouer? Ce serait bien mieux pour vous de publier sur les forums de classement de cette version, pour attirer l'attention des joueurs de ce jeu.
For those of us that don't speak french, what I just said (or at least what I hope I said) is:
"Welcome to the site!
What version of Minecraft are you planning to run? It'd be much better for you to post on that version's leaderboard forums, to get the attention of that game's runners."

Hello everyone! As the title says, I took the liberty of preparing a new custom icon for the game (which is basically the rumble arena 2 logo), and you can see it here:
Feel free to use as you see fit!
PS: If you're wondering where would this "Game Icon" appear, you can see it in your profile settings in your followed games list, to the left of the game's title. You can see a preview of how it'd look on this photo here.
I have never given half a shit about this and have often wondered why anyone does. Bump an old thread and it's "OMFG YOU NECRO'D A TWO YEAR OLD POST YOU FUCKING NERD!!!" Post a new thread and it's "OMFG ANOTHER THREAD ABOUT THIS?!?!?!?" While there is something to be said for reading around to see if your topic or question has already been raised (chances are on a speedrunning forum, someone else has asked for game recommendations 😛 ) but most people just aren't going to do that. Hell, I don't always do that. So neither the necro nor the repeat post bothers me. It's just people needing help, so let's help them, yeah?
The reason some users get annoyed when a new thread pops up that's related to an older thread is simple enough: by asking the same question again people tend to believe the OP didn't research the topic on the forums enough, given that they think that "there's already a thread available on the topic with all the info", which in a lot of cases is true (some questions have already been answered in full after all), but this has also happened in cases where there's still room for debate. As you mentioned though, necroing will more likely than get you yelled at as well.
So, my suggestion is that in those cases, should you have knowledge of existing threads prior to yours, you should just acknowledge them and leave the links to them in the original post, stating that you looked at them but you couldn't quite find the answer you were looking for. If you do this they really can't blame you for making a new thread, can they?
While we're at it, I also adapted the classic Rumble Arena logo to become an image proper for a game icon:
Once your game gets accepted, I believe you should be able to set up other categories as well. The video on the game request is merely to give the admins an idea of what speedrunning the game in question looks like (whether it's long enough and if it seems like there's actual effort in trying to speedrun or if it's just casual play done a few seconds faster).
So, I'd say that you should record a run for the category you think represents best the game's speedruns in general, like a sort of showcase.
Hey guys! As the title says, I prepared a new custom icon for the game (which is basically the spinning tarzan head you can see next to your health bar in-game), which you can see for yourself here:

I believe that while some categories like any% and 100% are pretty common and there's a consensus on what they entail, other categories like Low% or the can of worms that is "Glitchless" aren't so black and white and thus can be more subjetive to certain boards, in which case I don't really see any harm in letting the community decide how they want to run it.
The point being made though is the fact that it's not possible to do sorts in the fashion the OP wants without doing some workaround, and that stands whether it is for Low% or for any other category that might require extra variables to take into account, so it'd be nice if the feature could be implemented in the future.
Hello and welcome to the site!
If you'd like to reach out to the bedrock speedrunning community, your best shot is to either join their discord server or to post this question on the forum on their leaderboard.
Aside from that, in general when you're trying to improve on a game the best thing to do is to watch the WR to see what they're doing. Once you've done that and tried your hand at doing a few runs trying to mimic what they are doing, you can re-watch the WR and I can almost guarantee you'll find new strats that were too nuanced for you to notice the first time watching. Rinse and repeat this process and you'll see your times improving at a steady pace :)
Good luck!
Well, that's certainly one way to get into it. Welcome to the site!
Hello and welcome to the site!
If you're looking for software to record your runs, there's a few options that work pretty well, but to name two:
- Open Broadcaster Software, or OBS for short, is the one most people use (including myself) and it's completely free. Might look a bit daunting at first if you're new to this, but test it out for a bit and soon enough you'll get accustomed to its layout.
- If you happen to have an NVidia graphics card, NVidia Shadowplay is also completely free. It works seamlessly and you barely even notice it running in the background, but it does lack some features that OBS has.
Both of these options should be able to record everything on your screen without much issue. If you still have any doubts, feel free to ask!
