I think splits I/O currently only reads the realtime, so just post a screenshot of your splits (alt+print and then open imgur, press ctrl+v and copy the image url after the upload, no BB code needed) for games with ingame time until their dev figures out a good way to make the site read the game time too.
Not sure which exact run, but it probably mainly was SGDQ 2013, where I saw a bunch of runners I'd later follow, which got me invested into the communities around some of the games. I dabbled a bit with Fire Emblem Awakening, but never recorded and submitted any runs until I saw how much of a thing Portal speedruns are.
There is this:
Not sure if it's exactly what you want, as this only shows the time spend in actual runs on that exact splits file.
I think what some of the portal mod/mappacks did was adding a column for game version (Steampipe vs Sourceunpack V2 vs Sourceunpack V3 or whatever other exe build you may have used for a custom unpack). This could be combined with that, I think, A Hat In Time did where the beta builds had a seperate leaderboard, either as a seperate "game" on here or a seperate category, which later gets moved to the misc categories thing, to keep the boards looking clean. Making seperate categories for each version sounds kinda silly to me, a game that's still in development gets patches quite often (unless the devs don't actually care about Early Access customers).
I think a site admin or content/full mod has to fix that manually.
Idk what all the drama here's about, especially coming from those that know as little as I do. From what I can read, that person was supposed to be a regular mod and if they're doing their job as a mod currently, that's great to hear.
as far as I know it is possible to play bootleg/selfmade/homebrew games/programs on PS1 with a modchip that disables the check for an original game disc. This could of course be used for that purpose, if someone makes a modified iso for the game in question. Note that this still does fall under piracy, if someone uploads or send a modified copy of the game. I don't know anything about cheat devices (like Action Replay for NDS), but those might also exist and could help with that.
Additional categories would probably be either Round 2, which sounds extremly hard to do fast and/or stickers. Multiplayer isn't a thing for speedruns, a catch-all-possible kinda category would take days. Language options are there because they do make sense. Different texts have different length and therefore take different times, as well as the fact that the japan pokemon speedruns community only recently started transitioning to this site and they probably also wanted it like this.
I'm guessing the tasvideos forums http://tasvideos.org/forum/ would be much better suited for that.
@Timmiluvs it might be Nohboard? https://github.com/ThoNohT/NohBoard
I personally don't know the series, but the 3 main games are listed as Adventure/visual novel and google spits out quite a few non-text-reading gameplay screenshot for the query "danganronpa gameplay screenshot", which leads me to the conclusion that those games aren't 100% Visual Novel, but rather Adventure games with lots of text.
a few levels in Gear Full Circle have potential skips with a wrongwarp I never figured out. Last time I got it I spawned oob right at the start of a level. There are also quite a few spots where you can bump into (mostly corners, but sometimes also the ground) walls without getting killed, but I haven't found any spots where that'd be useful.
Then there's original Gamecube WindWaker's Barrier Skip, which still isn't figured out, because the method used on WiiU only works there.
Drag'n'Drop for editing the order of followed games would be super awesome. I decided to mess around with the automatic sorting a bit, didn't like it and had to spend 15mins getting my old order back together with those confusing up/down arrows. Or at least add a hover-effect to each row, so you can actually tell which game you are on.
For Pokemon Green there only is the japanese version, so keeping up a leaderboard of that is their duty, not PSR's, who are handling main series Pokemon on here. As the japanese community is slowly shifting over here, hence the JAP language variables everywhere, they might at some point bring over Green to, until then, there won't be a leaderboard here, as far as I know
if oob runs are allowed to use build 3420, you're definitely allowed to use 3258 for this. Other runs usually use...uhh...I think it was 5150, but anyways that's also not the current steam version at all.
Currently probably my first emerald run, I'm hoping to try PMD: Explorers Of Darkness soon, so then that'll be it at somewhere over 6 hours.
@JessicaSix if all you can do is insult other people and try to get around rules by using a different language, just delete your account before a mod does it.
