You have to add an actual game to the series first (you haven't done so from what I can guess from your profile info and what you mod), and then add a category, THEN you can add runs
There's a per-game option to enable or disable requiring verification. It's enabled by default but if you un-tick it, then each run will be "verified" by the run submitter.
If you want it to be unticked for the games you run or something, then you can start a forum thread in that game's forum.
Also, I feel like if the verification system is not to check if the time was correct or for cheating, then it is acting like a filter kind of thing. I feel like if someone is a mod of a game, then they know enough about the game and the runners that, if there isn't any video required, the run is still legit.

"UPDATED ESTIMATES"
The estimate for Vice City any% should remain 1:05 and not 1:10 imo. I have no clue who got it changed OpieOP
Ah yeah, true, though taking the time to save and load makes it not sound worth it from the start. It could use some messing around with though.
I can't really see why deleting a rampage would aid in going fast, but cool find nonetheless OneHand
I got PBs in Age of Empires (Greek campaign), Age of Empires II (Wallace campaign) and Vice City Any%. They're all on speedrun.com as of now, and I think the Age of Empires II estimate can be lowered to 25 minutes, since there isn't much that can go wrong anymore thanks to some "new" glitches.
I haven't done much Vice City Stories to be honest since I've been too busy for many long runs these days, but I know that my ability to get below that estimate is there (and by the time ESA happens I'll definitely have gotten a much better PB). Also my PB has 12 minutes of me going AFK due to family (and me not caring since it was my first run and it was garbage anyway), so think of me as having a 4:40:xx RTA time for now.
So if I want to get in with the discounted price and I have 4 games going to ESA, then would I pay 340 SEK + 200 [50¤4] SEK deposits for games? or is it just 340 + 50?
So I'm working on an autosplitter. It started out pretty shit and I made a video on the progress but I got it to finally split consistently.
Here's another video of it working:
Basically it's an AutoHotkey script and it reads a couple of memory addresses to know what relevant things are going on, and then it sends the appropriate hotkeys to split the timer. I would make something that hooks into WSplit or something, but that doesn't seem feasible at all. Also I don't use LiveSplit so I won't be bothered making a plugin for it that does this. At least this will be compatible with any timer that supports global hotkeys (read: every timer ever).
I'll post more updates on it here. If anyone reading this wants my shitty work-in-progress version of it, just shoot me a PM on Twitch and I can send you a special customized version, as I have not yet added options for each user to do so.
The case with AoE1 was that some maps were faster on Hardest and some were faster on Easiest/Easy, so I carried over the rule to allow difficulty-mixing to AoE2 since I thought the same might apply here. You could do Hard difficulty runs of campaigns if you'd like, but I don't see the point in making it the standard, if some maps will be slower this way.
You mean like pussy wood?
I actually don't know. If it doesn't affect the AI or gameplay mechanics then it should be ok, but then again, a mod is a mod. I'd say don't use them for now and things will get sorted out over time.
Got a new GTA: Vice City PB. Probably I will have yet another one soon. A new skip was discovered to work on the Japanese version and it saves ~2 minutes, maybe even a little under 2:30. Estimate should remain the same though imo.
¤UPDATE: got another PB that I probably won't try to improve soon.
whenever I can be bothered to make a decent one
This is not possible in any other version of the game to my knowledge, so I'm wondering: should this be allowed? Then again, the ICE CREAM MISSION insta-pass is allowed, so I'm not sure. Share your thoughts here.
Starting timer at the start of IGT would make sense to me as well, guess I'll start doing that then
I think timer should start upon selecting "new game" in the menu (or maybe after the loading screen disappears and the cutscene starts? That would eliminate a tiny bit of loading time differences between HDD and SSD). That's all I really have to say.
I think a good idea would be to warp to Printworks after cop land, make an SSA purchase replay during PW2, then warp to SSA and do that afterward, and then do the classic driving with the Deluxo in the cutscene over to Kaufman Cabs. That's a bit of a long drive though so idk how good of an idea that is.
