It always can happen that it crashes. But i get really rarely a crash i rather get NPC´s that are softlocked. Well sometimes another programm causes Skyrim to crash but there are a lot of runs where the game didnt crashed. Atleast on ESA it didnt crashed last year as far as i remember it didnt crashed on finnruns vsync just fucked up a lot.

Maybe all minigames as a misc categorie. Well i cant decide these things anyway we have to discuss that as a community. But hey most people are away to AGDQ. Atleast people like SK, Paper and im pretty sure RDA is also there. Overall i think it would be cool if we could have a discord or something like that

I mean were already such a small community seperating more wouldnt be beneficial. But you can still see if a player did 2p strats or not but just any% is enough. I already asked for something like this a long time ago to RDA and then this filter was included. It is interesting for sure but i wouldnt see a reason to seperate them unless KEY gets a million new runners. Then we could talk about it again.

minigames? i think sure they should count as IL´s and just as a sidenote i will post soon the boos fight strats as video^^

would do it not a mod. also 100% in terms that it would affect the gamefile to go more towards 100%? i mean for example gold medalls are not needed in order to get 100 %

Speedrunning is always a thing. You have to enjoy the game in order to have the motivation to run it over and over. I would always say learn a game that you love/loved. It is the best if you want to start with speedruns because even when its harder you have more motivation and fun running it. And for the DOSBox question.... I dont know if its allowed but i would guess so. Maybe someone with more information about that can respond and otherwise ask in the speedrun community for your game always for the rules and what is allowed/banned for your game what you want to speedrun. But anyway gl with finding the speedgame that fits to you and enjoy your runs.

Its fun. Atleast for me. The challenge of getting a better time over and over is amazing even when sometimes your Speedgames are just aweful to run and a true pain. But then again the speedrun-community overall is so amazing. I was at ESA and everyone was nice. And to be honest when you dont enjoy speedrunning you wouldnt do it ;)

I would rather create a 2nd categorie any % 1p only. Simliar to any % no tuner/tuner in wind waker.

And funfact the 100 % definition from SDA forums was beat every level and get the treasures from the Levels. Yeah in KEY theres definately no ingame % counter FailFish

Last Update on Skyrim got a 45:41 run (sadly not sub 45) http://www.speedrun.com/skyrim/run/57945. I want to improve this time still. I panicted at the end and made a stupid mistake but overall a good run.

I did managed to get a new PB and WR in Monaco.(http://www.speedrun.com/monaco/run/43483) Also i get more consistent and i can execute the Hotel Level with bad RNG better. Also since my A-Levels are done i was able to grind Skyrim more and i got 48:40 which im going to improve more. () I hope i can grind until May 13th to sub 45 atleast

Hey Everyone my name is Matthias (just call me Matse or Matse007 whatever you want) and im 17 years old.

I startet Speedrunning in May 2013 and i picked up Kirby Epic Yarn as my first Game. I still thanks Kirbymastah he was explaining me i should take one of my favourite games and so i startet with KEY^^. I learned everything from the current WR video from ModularFive and yeah so i startet with Speedrunning. Sadly my Console Capture Setup is broken since November last year so i wasnt able to do a run since then. I also tried Kirby´s Return to Dreamland but yeah i didnt know the route and tricks. At the moment i Speedrun Skyrim and Monaco:Whats yours is Mine.

And to be honest: i cant wait any longer, I really want to come back into KEY speedrunning ^^.
