Hows about extending the block function to block out certain runs from showing up on a leaderboard if you do not want to see them due to personal reasons?

@goadiroth actually, an archiving function for a leaderboard would be great. Sadly, srdc does not support this afaik. A shame but I do understand the decisions behind this. Gl to all the runners.

Yeah I also only accept TAS like runs on my leaderboards with no mistakes.
Tbh that sounds like bad moderation. If someone does a formatting mistake, point it out and correct it in the submission. That is minimal effort
Hey I do want to use glitches. So I will make my own category called new game plus but with glitches. Also I run on stadia how can I downpatch? Send me some help.
Memes aside. If you are so keen on running this, make a google spreadsheet like people did in the old days of speedrunning. As someone who is mod and admin in mutliple communities, I can see why this category got rejected. As most people stated before me, there are multiple issues with that category. Also just because a leaderboard doesn't have a specific category, you can't speedrun it. Do runs on your own and compete with yourself and once again if a few people are interested in competing do a google spreadsheet.

While I like a few parts of the redesing (everything feels more responsive), the change to designs is a disaster. Every single game looks so boring and there is no personality to it. It doesnt matter if I look at Skylar and Plux, Hat in Time, Mario 64 or OOT... They are all the same now. What sets them apart is a banner and a few minor things.
What is the next update? Will everything turn into a spreadsheet? So we gone full circle again? I do not like where this all is going. I enjoyed having the speedgames leaderboard have different themes and looks. It is representing the community in a way and I just dont understand why it had to be taken away.
Inb4 we also get bubble avatars soon.
Normally the entire run has to be captured with the emulator displayed. That means instead of just capturing the game you also need to capture the rest of the emulator.
That would be super cool but i sadly dont have one of those adapters for a gamecube :/
