Okay first of all its speedrun, speedrunners, speedrunning... Please dont seperate the words.

Lets give some of the answers a shot that have not been answered yet:

3. Just a matter of practice. Actually in a lot of speedgames on the highest level, streamers tend to look occasionally on chat if they have a split second. You cant pay attention to the chat all the time unless you are willing to perform a bit worse.

6)Most consoles have a hard reset button. Save states are normally banned in most speedruns unless the game gives you such a mechanic like that(quick save/quick load).

7. They close the game and open the next one. Simple as that. If its console runs they have the respective games/consoles already next to them and might just need to change inputs for the capture card.

8. Upscaler. I know the Framemeister but I dont know what other options are available and also on the lower end on prices.

^this pretty much. You need to understand quite a few things from computer science and programming in order to actually make use of a memory viewer or to make use of actual code snippets.

I tried to submit the game as well, but using freeplay as that eliminates all imposters. So you setup a custom lobby to remove the PvP aspects of a mainly PvP oriented game.

Thats not artificially changing it to PVE, but I got rejected as well. You actually stated in the line before, that you adjusted the settings of this otherwise PvP based game to turn it into a PvE mode.

All that aside in the speedrun you are already loaded in. Something that makes me question that run in the first place already.

If you really want to make a leaderboard for the game I highly recommend using a google spreadsheet or hosting your own website. Thats what most communities did and a lot still do.

Check the game you are running. Some games require all attempts to be livestreamed or livestreamed once you reach a certain time.

Its a number that shows how many runs are being submitted/accepted for said game. Its not too accurate afaik but basically shows if there is a lot of activity withhin said game/community.

That capture card should be able to record in 1080p. This seems like it is a setup problem. I assume this is a screenshot from your stream? Could you screenshot the OBS preview?

@Yonally, I feel like blindly recommending a capture card to OP is not the best idea.

@Andrew360 what do you want exactly? An internal or external capture card? What sources do you want to capture? Budget? Any preferences on brands or brands you want to completly avoid?
