It's certainly doable if there's a request for it. I'd like DLC runs as well for some time since they're quite shorter than the main game. I'll try to get something together soon.
That would be optimal, since there are significant platform differences
Great work ! I'm gonna test it out as soon as i can and report back to you :)
I have now been added as a mod so I'll help out with reducing verification times from now on !
I offered to be a mod multiple times, but no answer. After my most recent run was not verified for like over 6 weeks or so, i messages all the mods and if i got no respond i would've filed an appeal to the super mods. But then my run got verified.
Still, i'm offering my help for verification of runs so the community does not get buried in inactivity.
Speedruns for v1.0 are on hold for (at least) this week until the community has ultimately decided which presets / settings will make it into new categories on the board. Newest infos on the Discord.
mods didnt respond to my message, but my run got verified now
Not yet, but i think i'm gonna appeal for it during this weekend.
I'm waiting for over 2 months now to get my recent run verified. Again I volunteer to help out as a verifier if the current mods have spare time issues .
I finally did a "run" of this :P
Hm, interesting find. I didn't know about that either. I'm gonna take a look into it once i fire up the game myself again.
I see no problems with it. As long as it does not give you access to functions unavailable to players on regular controllers (30Hz mashing e.g.) it's fine to use imo.
Just found a glitch in the final level that will speed up things for runs.
In Phase 2 (Burgers) there are two conveyor belts. Just place a cut / cooked ingredient on the end of either of the belts, then pick it up with anything but your hands and you will pick it up while it also stays on the belt (so you dupe it).
Works with cut uncooked meat, cut salad and tomatoes.
E.g. put cut meat there, then pick it up with an empty pan and it'll dupe.
E.g. put a cut tomato there, then pick it up three times with an empty pot and it will instantly fill with three tomatoes.
Gonna investigate if this works in other levels with conveyor belts as well.
[can only speak that it works on the PC version]
Howdy. Are you playing on PS2 ? Your load times are like 8seconds faster per stage compared to my PS1 emulator.
Don't you just hold the skip button (etc. X on PS4) right before the level screen fades in to not lose time on it ?
I guess the Discord is just dead ?
Mechanic is pretty simple, you press B to tilt the right side of the table and Left on the DPad to tilt the left side of the table.
The tilt is a very effective tool to get the ball into the correct positions, e.g. for skipping from the middle to the top in the Poppy stage or for the "tilt bash" quick kill on Wispy.
Have all series moderators stepped down simultaneously ??
i guess so yes, i'll pretend they dont exist for routing now.
Hey there,
I was thinking about finally routing the New Game category for this. The question i have is, are those slime weapons you receive after Arba I allowed to use ? AFAIK, they are gifts exclusively to those who purchased the Slime Edition of the game, or am I wrong ?
So are those weapons allowed in a New Game category or not ?
