@Colors If you want to advertise the game, you can go to this forum post here. https://speedrun.com/speedrunning/thread/hl23s
If this skip is wanted so badly by the community, I presume that this skip would save a big chunk of time.
@Valzentia To add to that, The Spongebob Movie Game and Truth or Square due to their numerous appearances at marathons, particularly the latter.
Ratatouille Usually Asobo (PC, PS2, Gamecube, Xbox, Wii), but PSP has gained a bit of attention.
And if I want to add more, the Shrek series. Extra Large, 2 on PC and console, and Shrek the Third.
I do agree with @VyPr here. As a glitch hunter, you need to have a good knowledge of the game itself. The mechanics, the physics, all the intricacies. Mess around with the mechanics, you never know what shenanigan you'll find yourself in. Also, you can searches video on Youtube if anybody found any glitch in your game, even if there are less video about it. Even if it looks useless, mess around with that.
Hello, once again. I have returned to this thread to recommend another game that I run, and one of the games you guys may be familiar with
Game: Ratatouille PSP Link: https://www.speedrun.com/ratatouille_psp Discord link:https://discord.gg/eQ6tTN4G5U
Ratatouille PSP is a 3D platforming game released on Sony Playstation Portable in 2007 and developed by Locomotive Games. It has five worlds with seven levels each, except for the first world, which has six. This platformer is very difficult but has a robust gameplay mechanic that is rather satisfying if you do it well. Have various amount of glitches, strats and tricks not found in other ports, making it the most diverse among its contemporaries.
The Any% run is quite long, only clocking in at 2 hours if you're good. However, you can either run each level except the boss and chase scene, or the entire world, which have a decent time. This is where Ratatouille PSP shines the most. With double jump and tail swipe across death-defying gaps, varying ways to escape the confine of the level to shortcut to the end, and mind-boggling skips that left you in awe and at the edge of your seat.
We have a small but dedicated community that works tirelessly to dissect the game piece by piece. Examining, theorising, and testing the game to reach its fullest, broken potential. Who may know how broken this game can get?
He just... Poof!... Out of existence. His speedrun.com profile got deleted. His Youtube channel got dusted away by Thanos. I was beginning to get worried. What happened to him that caused him to drop from the faces of Earth?
I presume that is the case. But another assumption of mine is a game where you can do a regular Any% run without the NG+ attributes on an already completed file. Ie you can do both the NG and NG+ run simultaneously. If that's the case, then yes, it is a rare case. One game that came to my mind is Shrek the Third game. The run started not on clicking "New Game" unless you completely wipe your save files. Instead, you start by clicking Introduction. The NG+ element in this game is in the form of costumes that gives you special attributes. Those costumes can be triggered on and off at will, so you technically can do both the NG Any% and NG+ in the same file.
Ok, I gonna update this forum post and asked if anyone would be interested in this. The server is undergoing a massive change right now, and no longer is a speedrun server dedicated to Runaway Rainbow games. However, we are offering to add more MLP games if you want to. Yes, our server is quite young obviously, and speedrun isn't the focus in the server. But, we are open to include more games into the server, and allow to have its own dedicated chatroom, and its own category if possible. Thank you.
So, we are trying to change the trophy icon in the leaderboard, but for some reason, it didn't update to the icon we used. What is even more weird is that when we look at the 'Edit Theme' tab, it is clearly shown that we have indeed change the icon into a new one. Is this a normal occurrence or one in the millions? How can we fix it?
