@imma_luck_out_nows I would prefer if you removed the name of the other runner entirely
@imma_luck_out_nows Please change the name of your YT video so as not to antagonize other runners
All runs require a video to be verified because it would be easy to edit a photo or manipulate the game files to alter the time shown.
Hi, I’ve verified this run for now, but in future, please use the in-game timer (since it is accurate to more decimal places)
There is a huge time loss when starting Infinite Descent (ranging from 5-10 seconds) and further time losses per each death. I would LOVE to fix this lag, but it would take a LOT of effort; so I’m going to see if I can post a new build of the game which starts the timer from the moment the player actually gains control (possibly measuring from “first input”?) Thoughts / Suggestions?
Woah! Only 3 deaths! At 5 seconds each lost per death, a "Deathless" run would certainly be sub-5
If you go into the Options, you can enable Speedrun Mode which will clear the fire and eliminate the need for the Butterfly
Here it is! Sub-Six, with lots of potential to go lower
Congrats on Submitting your first run! I’d recommend going into the Menu and enabling Speedrun Mode to speed up level transitions; they add up over the course of the run
It’s incredible the way you consistently manage to thread the needle on that final jump before you wrap back to the title screen
Well done! Really shows how important fewer deaths are to a run (due to that accursed lag)
Excellent improvement over your previous run! And I don't think I've seen anyone tackle 4-5 in that order before Please note that I adjusted this to be in the "Web" category (PC is for the downloaded version of the game)
Threading that needle between jellies at the end; nice!
Congrats on submitting your first speedrun, I can tell you've been practicing! Also, I updated your run timer to use In-Game-Time which is still the standard for now (since it is a count of frames).
