Oh yeah I think the game @RilleyF was talking about was https://www.speedrun.com/celestegba
This site's moderation rules state:
Runs that are clearly not making an effort to beat the game's category quickly may be rejected.
So it doesn't really have to be spelled out in the rules for an obvious "slow run" to get rejected. On the other hand the mods might still accept it since that's just guidance.
RC5 has been broken for everyone since early October, since apparently all the sprites for just that version are missing. You can use a different RC number since those still work last I checked, or if it has to be RC5 you can use doodleslauncher.com
My list of unofficial Celeste Classic ports. Not all of them have categories yet since I haven't tested all of them, I just tried listing the main ones.

While ports try to take the original game from one platform to another, remakes try to rebuild the game from the ground up. I might include them here to avoid creating too many pages. So far we already have a page for the Scratch remake.
Let me know if you've found unofficial ports not listed here, or if you're interested in running any of them.
Alright, created separate page/categories for it at: https://speedrun.com/Celeste_Classic_Unofficial_Ports Feel free to submit runs there.
Apparently porting this game to so many platforms became popular after the release of Celeste (2018) which has the official port as an Easter egg.
That shouldn't be a problems since sound isn't required for normal Celeste Classic either, I believe it's just recommended for top runs.
Reminds me, awhile back I did a speedrun of the Playdate port:
I was thinking of setting up a page called something like "CELESTE Classic (unofficial ports)" since I've found quite a few of them.
I can't add categories since I'm just a verifier, but I think the problem with Blockfill is there's no defined win condition, and you can't reset your progress (aside from redownloading the app, but we can't expect people to do that every run).
I think that just means the games featured generally shouldn't be holiday themed lol
Oh I was talking about lag in general. If you use Turbowarp the FPS should be the default 30.
It might be allowed, but if you have excessive lag then I'll probably retime it using real time instead of in-game time.
I guess it was assumed that the other rules from the main categories would carry over XD
Now it should be more clearly stated.
There's ways to skip the tutorial in warpless categories, you can find out how looking in the Guides tab :)
The time here should be 37 seconds (in-game time)
I notice https://drivemad.io/ is listed as a permitted website though that's now the wrong game, instead it's a game called "Funny Mad Racing".
