As far as I'm aware showing the difficulty selection is only required if the game difficulty can't be determined another way, so I'm not sure what the problem here was.
I submitted a support ticket to add it to the series (edit: they accepted it 20 minutes later)
That's alright, my comment was more directed to the mods so they could fix it :)
The first part is the Any% run, after that I get all the collectibles to get the 100%.
You can submit Pico-8 Celeste runs to the CELESTE Classic leaderboard. Runs using the easter egg version inside Celeste are allowed there as 'emulator'.
That would have to be a separate unofficial game, probably in the Celeste Fangames series like some other remakes. If you message me your speedruns then I could look into adding it.
It might be a bug with src worth reporting. Runners should be able to delete the old runs they submitted. As a verifier I can't delete, only reject or revert to unverified.
It's basically the same as the Snake Mods favicon, just a tiny bit smaller. Since I usually have both tabs open and they both start with "Google Snake" it's easy to confuse them, especially with a lot of tabs open.
It's not a huge deal, but maybe something like the default Apple or the Classic Mode trophy could work here. Alternatively, since the community controls the mods page maybe that one could be changed instead.
Yeah, what I heard from a friend is that in speedrunning we generally truncate or round down times, so that's what I've done here. There's some exceptions in certain games and it's not a big deal but I've made it clear in the rules now :)
There's no difference now since they updated src so Shorts now embed like regular YT videos.
@Potato_Phrog there's a bug with crouching in corners, you can see the tech list in Guides for more details
Both video links don't work for me :(
The Dropbox file just needs to be made public I think
Oh wow, looks like someone noticed this and added the embedding! Also before I was using a browser extension to redirect youtube.com/shorts to youtube.com/watch (for re-timing and verifying runs) but now that just happens automatically in embeds. Probably wasn't a huge change behind the scenes, but still greatly appreciated, thanks!
It would be nice if YouTube Shorts automatically embedded, like normal YouTube links currently do. Right click on almost any video and select "Copy embed code" to see how it can be done. For speedrun moderation this gives the added benefit of moving frame-by-frame in a video, making retiming a lot easier for games without an in-game timer.
