If they did as you suggested thomas, that's making a new leaderboard and effectively wiping it... The + just denotes every version since v.25 that's being allowed since they're similar enough, especially considering the game right now is at v.44

Plus this mejai rework is more about getting the mejai to work as the devs initially intended, such as Necreph actually attacking the player if they stare at him, nothing really different in terms of actual playing mechanics. If anything, it would probably be good to look at the Banishment runs for the Golden Mummy variants since that ending was changed drastically from what it once was, but that's a different issue.

I mean nothing is stopping you from running that on your own, but more than likely will never end up becoming a category. If you really want to do full 16 star and have PC access, definitely look into emulator runs.

They're ILs and you're able to do them from activity center. My Cookie Race IL WR for example used Activity Center to do the run. Mini Golf is the only one to actually have difference between activity center and story mode for IL run.

Not mod but would be pretty sure you have to have some evidence that proves it's X mejai without a doubt (aka having only 1 option in the scroll list). Just because one thing isn't happening right at that moment doesn't mean that it confirms it's X mejai. Vocal response would be the best example in terms of that. Just because it's not saying anything back after a handful of tries could just mean you're unlucky.

Directly from the SM64 discord: USA: Text boxes scroll faster. 15 star MIPS runs slower. Faster for 0 Star and 70 Star JP: Shorter intro. Less text overall. Small differences in a few stages. Faster for 1 Star, 16 Star, and 120 Star JP Shindou Version: Less lag. Longer loading times. BLJs patched out of game. Faster for a variety of single star runs, not to be used in RTA PAL: European/Australian Version of the game. Not suitable for speedrunning since the framerate is locked to 25fps

For RTA runs, the difference between USA and JP versions is minimal enough that it doesn't really matter what version you run on until you are at a top level.

With Ouphris the mimic, you need him to be in his mejai form, which you can do by activating the Heka Amulet. Also if you actually click on each level on the IL page, it brings up a leaderboard with the different variables like map size. The only real thing difficulty changes is how much damage certain enemies and obstacles can do. Drowning and crocodile hits for example are the same across the board but the vertical rotating pillars and zealots do different damage based on the difficulty.

So my opinion when it comes to current 100% runs; considering hidden objectives appear when you enter new rooms that have said objective, you already need to essentially uncover 100% of the map, making it redundant to call it 200% etc. If you only uncover 90% of the map, who's to say the room or 2 you missed didn't have a hidden objective within it? any% shouldn't need to worry about the map uncovering while 100% should have it as requirement, which can be verified at the end screen.

Since there's no discord for the game, I figured I would share this interesting softlock I got into earlier today. Most likely was because I entered the door too quickly which didn't get rid of the text and the text is locked within that room somehow. Just gotta delay going in by a tiny bit because I'm pretty sure I did it first 2 frames or something like that...
