I have noticed that the time shown at the end is longer the longer your play session goes on. I recommend to close and restart the game every 10 to 15 minutes to get the best time possible.

Weird, it means the timer isn't reset properly, we'll add that to the ToDo list for when we will go back to dev/bug fixes on this game (this year for sure).

Actually i believe the game just lags more. As you have said in the Comments on my 3:57, the game starts to slow down at some point, apparently so hard that even you noticed. Timer is fine afaik, but something makes the game lag. PS4 at least, cant speak for PS5.
