I discovered this bug when trying to speed up the level and it helped me beat the last record by 4 seconds, I just need to check it but I'm showing it to help.
You have to hold down the "W" key to advance in the loading screen. On one of the attempts, Ed should almost fall onto the platform ahead as seen in the video and you must get up when the giant ball is right above you.For some reason that combination takes you to that place on the map where you save a lot of time and I would even say that it is even easier to achieve the speedrun.
