This is a bit of a random question but an interesting thought I had. There are a lot of categories which are both incredibly easy and incredibly optimized, leading to many people being able to tie the world record.

I did some research, and I found a few games with lots of world record ties:

Breaking the bank had 17 ties before it was untied. Haha yes! MCC at the top!

I knew about the ties in MTPO glass joe and this is the only level, but titol had only a few ties, and I couldn't find the leaderboard for glass joe.

Yeah titol definitely isn't many but I still think it's impressive.
