You’ve neglected to say what country you’re trying to switch to, but a while ago rules were put in place that you couldn’t select an East Asian country unless you are actually in that county.
Hong kong has such a pretty flag :3 its so beautiful I can't help you but I find it weird I would think if you can't be east asian then you wouldn't be allowed to be American either I guess unless you are from there? I mean Antarctica and stuff is just a jokey thing so its different ^^
Most people use their current location, like me. Pac may have been born in Europe, but maybe moved to Thailand. Sorry if this is not what you meant. I only read the last post before this one.
Every site you go to knows exactly what system your using, what browser your using and where you are right know (although the location isnt too accurate for me), here you can see everything: http://whatsmyip.de/index_.php?id=moreip
This works through the IP every system has, you can hide it with some extra programs or other stuff but overall not really worth it.
I mean it sucks a little but it ain't to bad i'm just glad I can put the Scottish flag because it gets forgotten sometimes :)
It will never cease to amaze me how much people care about this specific issue.
iirc the reason was Weeb Trolls, thats the reason why you cant use Asian countries unless you live there
Exactly. And this won't change any time soon.
the weeb thing makes so much sense :D I totally didn't even think about that ^_^ why not pick another country's flag besides Hong Kong? :) all country's are really interesting and each have a very interesting history as well as languages :)
@UbuntuJackson blame the weebs for not being able to select it. feed you hatred, develop your anger - grow stronger with it.
What if you moved for a year to a different country, or for lifetime. And you still want your old hometown as your flag?
It's just a flag, but in some situations, I can see why it can be annoying not to be able to pick your flag.
